I’m confused by the double posts by LW, it’s as if he forgot he posted

It could be one of those consistency errors, e.g. the post makes it into the system, but after that there's a glitch in the system and then you end up getting a 404 error page.

It's happened to me in the past, so I always check if the message went through (after I hit the "Submit Reply" button) before deciding, "Damn, now I have to do that post all over again".

When the page 404’s on me I check the net connection first, and if it’s all right, hit back and hope the previous page loads, some copypasta later and I’m ready to try again :p

Exactly what happened but I didn't think to check that it had posted. Don't forget I am only computer semi-literate

Sorry samh004 for the confusion.

:o Of course, D1 could very well knock on the door and jokingly reply, "Housekeeping!" or "Room Service!" Then we have a..............
I don't think we want to go there....I'd hope that she'd see him through the peephole. But so long as nobody else was walking past when she opened the door...:o

Just so long as that's Flashware coming through the door and not the porter with the luggage :D :o

Woah, that must have been as embarrassing as Flashware's ZNE flight  (probably a wise thing he didn't wait for me). What, nothing else on under the blanket othe than your socks :o Now, so long as it was only food- or lack of sleep-related, not anything else ;)

Hee hee hee re the porter bringing the luggage.

Unlike Flashware I didn't tell the FA's I'd been sick. Although after looking in the mirror I'm sure you could tell I wasn't 100%.

On the drive home I passed site of a fatal car crash :(. Police and Fire Brigade in attendance and the car was mostly hidden by a tarp (it had hit a tree).

Oh geez I feel like death warmed up today. Doesn't help that outside it feels like 30 degrees and humid. In the middle of April. So much for autumn.

Still, I dragged myself to work. *puts flame shield on*

I forgot to post this but the 7th April 2010 was 40 years since I began my RAAF Pilot training. It has been a very interesting time with the people I have met and the places I have visited. Another poster here (jb747) was a basic student when I was instructing at RAAF Point Cook though we did not fly together. I knew serfty's father at RAAF East Sale when he was an honorary member of the Officers Mess.

Between our course members we flew almost every type that the RAAF and RAN operated during those years. Unfortunately some of the guys from my pilots course are starting to get old :!:

Congratulations straitman. That's quite a life you've lead. Are you celebrating by catching up with some of your cohort?

Looks like it's a small world on this forum...

I did not stay long enough. I left after 12.5 years. Under DFRDB you had to leave then or stay until 20 years.

12.5 years? That qualifies you for an ADM! ;)

Although, with the era you joined in am thinking you probably flew in Nam.

When did you find out about that you knew serfty's father.

You know; this old thing, ;) I won't say any more, you could probably guess what I would say. :p

Two courses ahead, quite a few went, one course ahead a couple went and we all missed out. Depending upon perspective it was really good or really bad.

I really must get the ADM one day :!:

It’s been a few days… anyone watch the series premiere of Underbelly: The Golden Mile? Mal, you’re clearly forgiven for missing it.
