A 7.2 earthquake can be significant :!:

*can* indeed. Also I suppose they're looking at the quake as a whole - ie, fearing that Los Angeles is about to be hit by the 'big one'.

Interesting that places like the BBC only mention Los Angeles briefly:
BBC News - Earthquake rocks western Mexico

I do want to be in an area that has a minor earthquake at some time in my life, just to feel what it is like. Of course don't want to be under a freeway or above the fault line at the time! Have missed two in recent years by only a few weeks.

That reminds me of talking to clients about email management ! Some people think that 2 seconds is a long time for outlook to sort 20,000 emails in an email inbox without management rules! Sigh.

Having seen people with 64Gb mail files (and even higher at times) complain about how slow it is to do searches in their mailfile, open their mailfile and even complain about server performance - it is amazing how they don't correlate any of those with the size of their mailfile... ;)

Re: AIR - A Qantas Magazine

Using that logic then Tasmania is the most coherent state and Queensland the least with NSW as relatively incoherent and Victoria relatively coherent :!: :rolleyes:
Logic? :p There is only one coherent state. The rest are all varying degrees of incoherent! ;)

OK.

Tas = coherent
Vic = a little incoherent
NSW & Qld = Very incoherent :!:
So if someone is in Tasmania are they,by definition "incoherent" because they are IN "coherent"?.:mrgreen:
And doesn't it also mean that Victoria is a little version of Tasmania?.

Your post is almost 'incoherent' to me :!: :lol: :lol:

Guilty as charged...:oops:

I just checked online, and worked out I last used my Coles Source Mastercard nearly 4 years ago!

(I did attempt to use it on Paypal last year, but it was rejected.).

I believe the last purchase was a Mastercard only special BA fare...

It does surprise me that they've never contacted me and tried to convince me to use it again. Then again, they're probably happy to not have to lend me money ;)

Surprised you don't have an old Bankcard hidden away somewhere.;)

It is amazing the number of businesses who still have signs saying they accept it.

Hehe. I knew when I first got a credit card (1997/1998 IIRC), that Bankcard was dead so went for a Visa. And yeah it is amazing how many merchants still have the signs up.

No different to the merchants who have "Amex Traveller's cheques accepted" or "Diners Club / Amex accepted", yet don't have the merchant facilities or want to accept those payment methods!

Hope you made it back to NSW safely karens. That will help the SC and FF point gathering (but not the sleep :D)

It's funny, everyone seemed to know about it except me; such schemers! Karen is out shopping right now, and flies out tomorrow morning. Only 1.5 weeks till we catch up again :p

Another flyertalk enhancement; with the linking of facebook and flyertalk, almost thought that it should have a new thread. Admin; don't get any ideas I reckon its a stupid idea.

IMHO it's a very stupid idea. Of course I'm not a Facebook fan, so wouldn't use it anyway - but I really like the concept of:

This feature allows FlyerTalk users who have a Facebook account to log into their FlyerTalk account with their Facebook credentials
