I just got the best birthday surprise (it's tomorrow). Guess who was at home waiting for me when I got home from the Eagles game? karens:!::!:

I hope she had the key, or the new lock might cost a bit ;)

Happy Birthday (assuming now!

Edit: That’s twice I’ve had the new page :o

I was asleep on the lounge!

What a pleasant surprise. Happy B'day! Hope it's a good one.

I've already made him cook me breakfast!

His little sister picked me up and let me in.

Sigh- yet in qld the cows still rule our time.
You mean the 50% of the population that live outside of the south east. I had to suffer through the day light savings trial when living in cairns, one place that doesn't need to save sunlight.

I was going to suggest "was she there wearing nothing but a big ribbon tied in a bow" or the person coming out of the gift box / birthday cake thing, but I thought I'd better not.

Happy Birthday, D1. :D As usual, the AFF board didn't stock any candles, so here's a light bulb instead:

I did all the drinking for your birthday last night - went out for dinner first with work friends, then had a few (too many) martinis in The Valley. Somehow got home in one piece with everything intact; woke up without a huge hangover and with Chapstick all over my face. Methinks I'm going to have to ask my friends to confirm what happened that night.

What's the most amount of unread emails you have had to deal with?
Today I received a phone call from a friend asking whether I had received an email he sent a week or so ago,I replied that I had not and asked what address he had sent it to,it became clear that he had sent it to an old email account that I had not used for some months so I decided to check the account to see if there was anything that needed dealing with ,imagine my horror to find that there were 7645 emails waiting to be read! admittedly they were mostly newsletters and the occassional joke but I still had to go through and scan the subject matter of all of them incase there was something urgent!

D1 said he has seen that episode of how I met your mother and he snickered very loudly.

Thanks for the  D2. I'm going to wish you a happy birthday for the 18th now, as I'll be near WLG by then and may not have internet access, and be assured that I will return the drinking favour :p

Re: AIR - A Qantas Magazine

I try and scrape through to Platinum everytime. I got the first AIR magazine, and possibly the second one, but nothing since.

And also self funded travellers who live in one state and work in another state.

Are those states coherent, and incoherent?:lol:

Watched the last 10mins of Sunrise this morning, beamed in from their 7 LAX studio. Bloke by the name of Tom Tayler (?) was reporting on the earth quake in southern California, and told the World that "this is the biggest earth quake I've ever lived through". Talk about LOL...............

Cheers Dee.

Why wasn't Koch in the middle of the earthquake zone! God how I'd love him to be swallowed up by the earth never to return

Don't talk about my alarm clock like that! I can think of no better motivation to get out of bed at 6 am and go to the toilet

That reminds me of talking to clients about email management ! Some people think that 2 seconds is a long time for outlook to sort 20,000 emails in an email inbox without management rules! Sigh.

I had one bloke work out the number of hours a year he would have to wait for his computer to reboot. I told him the downtime in him not rebooting once a week would mean I would take his computer away from him all together- now he doesn't complain !

LOL. Was he upset about not having to do his own obituary? ;)

Haven't read through all of the recent news, but wasn't it a minor shake of Los Angeles for about a minute? Ie - the equivalent of some other earthquakes that had little to no reporting recently?

Re: AIR - A Qantas Magazine

Yes. :p And the incoherent state is north of the coherent state. ;)
Using that logic then Tasmania is the most coherent state and Queensland the least with NSW as relatively incoherent and Victoria relatively coherent :!:

A 7.2 earthquake can be significant :!:
