Great advice. So we stayed with them, but have learnt our lesson and now each year we will phone around and swap to whoever is best - when it comes to pretty much everything theses days loyalty just makes you a bit of a mug....
Ha and nope, no I dont. Hair goes up into a messy pony bun, no make up - I would wear comfy shoes 24/7.
I start with good intention to take a few mins each morning but I look at the makeup and pffft, forget that.
Ive seen a few makeup tutorials and lose the will to live after the 28th product they put on their face.
The pensioners retiring overseas because they can't afford Australia
I think it all sounds good until you are very ill/need life saving treatment or surgery, you run out of super or the govt cuts your pension. But until then, enjoy.
Great advice.
I'm about to start looking at switching Health Insurance. I'm now paying almost $120/month for a single for basic cover and extras. And I'm also sick and tired seeing all the offers of points for joining Medibank Private and I've been with them 20 years and they offer nothing.
I have checked a little further re walking poles, they are Helinox brand, collapsed length is only 35cm & they weigh 150 grams each so very light & compact.
I usually stick to "traditional medicine" but both of us have used a local naturopath-Mrs RB now is a convert to the 5 Tibetan Rites Fountain Of Youth: 5 Tibetan Exercises You Should Be Doing Every Day - mindbodygreen
OMG if I could even attempt number 4 I'd be happy. Having just come home from Pilates and a glass of wine already I'll try the others later
My daughter does not yet have private health insurance. She is covered by Medicare. I'm not sure I need private health insurance yet for her?How does health insurance for a ‘single’ cover your wife and daughter? Or is it cheaper/better to cover them on a separate plan?
We pay a lot more than that as a couple.
They won’t say. Engine?
We lost flight Adl - Doh - Venice last night. Hotel in Venice charged us for tonight and threatened to cancel whole booking. I will slam them on Social Media if they do. They have our credit card. They know why we didn’t arrive. They know we are coming. Qatar put us in Hotel and taxi and food vouchers. New flights today. Lost a taxi booking in Venice plus a night/day there.

I left home at 16, and chose Darwin as being as far away from home (Canberra) and the cold as I could get. It was a fantastic city in the 70’s and I had the time of my life. I loved the heat and social life. Now when I visit I can’t cope at all. Still have good friends there, but I just hate the heat more as I get older.
Great advice.

I'll take one for the team and visit you often to assure you that you have made the right decision! We’ve been planning our retirement in Burgundy for a while now. Last years “hiccups” have stretched that out by another year or so, but still convinced it’s the right choice and fits in with our current income and lifestyle.
A hip or knee replacement is just a matter of time and one would hope it can wait 12 months. As my health insurer pointed out, if you're going to need dialysis or a knee or hip replacement you'll probably have more than 12 months' notice. More than enough time to upgrade your cover.

Unfortunately some don’t realise that buffets are to share and not your own private dining table. I hate it when kids run amok and grab stuff with their hands but then I’ve seen adults to that too. Even at the Qantas Business lounges
Just as an aside on travel insurance, I had a look at the t & c's for my amex card for the bosses trip to Vancouver and it said that supplementary card holders weren't covered if they traveled by themselves.
Does that sound correct or I have I possibly interpreted that incorrectly? Legalize isn't exactly my strong point.
Really? Very interesting that.Slightly off topic, what is your position when guesting someone into a lounge and then finding out they spent the next 6 hours there “happily eating, working and chatting to other guests”.
I was politely reminded last week in a Qantas Lounge that my guests are meant to leave the lounge when I do.
