That’s different to the Crown paying its own way for holidays and jaunts. When our PM goes to London we pay, not them.

Ive been collecting cans/bottles at work to donate to a local sporting club and Ive been told for 4 weeks a member that lives nearby will pick up but theyre still here so Im thinking I might send hubby to put in the recycle machine and then donating the $ to a charity. Theres a couple of hundred cans and bottles so far.

Ha - zero overnight is nothing, sheer luxury in fact. I have possum fur slippers though they are nearly worn out. MrLtL bought them in Queenstown NZ for me a few years ago.

overnight temperatures haven’t been too bad so far . I’ve organised for us to go to movies tonight with Ms FM and her husband (see Solo) and I am sitting here in my lovely warm house with a puppy on my lap looking at the gale outside and wondering why I did anything so silly. I switched to flannelette sheets today. Had to wash them first as new out of the packet, bought them at the summer sales.

Looks like super king and fitted and fits fantastic so have I been buying the wrong size and struggling with King?

I didn’t even realise you could get extra deep fitted kings until I saw a comment on one of these threads. Now I am left with a dilemma. Do I throw out my not particularly old and quite expensive sheets, or continue the struggle?

If its quality thread fabric and you love th sheets, I would continue but min 45ccm deep is the key for our bed. With the mattress topper plus my feather topper and mattress protector, it needs it.

I went and checked and the same sheets (but deep) are now $300 off, so I bought a set. This will be much easier on my hands The other two sets can serve as a backup for rainy weather. I generally only use one set as I love the smell of sheets just brought in from the line,

Sale is good! Im the same, I strip the bed, wash and remake bed, so I only have 2 sets for summer and 2 winter sheet sets. Once you find a fabric you like, you stick to it.

What I would really like is the manufactures to put a tag on the top or bottom, that says top or bottom, so I dont do the 3 corner sheet, redo sheet mambo every time I make the bed. Of course I could sew this on myself but I never get around to it. But the set I put on today didnt give me that grief so I guess my bed is super king?
