It’s good to visit new places… spending another year in Sydney, or somewhere they’ve been before seems silly when their are heaps of other possibilities. Even places like Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Byron Bay, would be fun, but sometimes you need to go further afield to find a new experience :p
I agree but in my opinion Darwin and Perth do not have a lot to offer and they are very difficult to get to for most overseas visitors and locals. I have been to both and Darwin is extremely boring. Another winery tour to the Margaret River? A full day in Kakadu?

Personally there are still many places on the East Coast one can visit, Canberra, Gold Coast and Coolongatta/Tweed heads and Byron Bay (whale watching at the moment is a big hit), Sunshine Coast, Newcastle and the Hunter, Murray River etc. Whatever the group decides and then we take it from there.

P.S I am terrified of posting on the Ozfest thread as we are not allowed to have an opinion and anyone that goes against wishes of the dictatorship is labelled a troublemaker....

Excuse me, there's something in Perth that does have a lot to offer ; I think it's called Flashware :lol: (I do know of one person who would agree with that).

Are you offering to hold a pool party at your place for the next OzFest? At least there's plenty of parking out front.

Considering OzFest’s happen at the same time every year, Perth would need to be incredibly and unusually warm for Flashware to host a pool party. And I guess, a pool, which I assume he has?

Winery visits are always popular, just be thankful that if Perth ever happens that Margaret River is a bit far for a reasonable day trip. Swan Valley is closer, but not really a premium wine region - (although Spring in the valley is fun )

He has, but next door has a heated pool. Am sure they won't mind if we all use theirs?

Agree Spring in the Valley is a fun day (well, let's be honest... weekend!) out!

Odds on that one person is called Flashware :mrgreen::p:cool:

Nope, funnily enough starts with a silent K!

I've heard of pub crawl, but seems you're proposing a pool crawl.

Reminds me of a 1960s movie I saw on the telly called, I think, The Swimmer. A chap (famous actor, can't recall who) decided to swim home through other peoples' pools.
