Wonder if they are having general system issues - lots of people with July activity but summary showing June as last activity.

Now random paper statements (FWIW mrsdoc got one of these some months ago, one-off).

That's interesting, my last activity is showing as May.... have definitely had activity since then!

I 've been getting Paper statements forever - June was received yesterday and fully up to date.

And I have just found that people are need to play musical chairs/desks in the next couple of weeks. Apparently I am being moved from the frying pan straight into the fire.

Maybe you need to have a word to someone that you work best when you can’t hear loud music, while others work best when they can, and if you’re moved to sit near someone that can’t keep their music to themselves then your productivity will likely drop.

And at the end of the day, despite being not ideal, I’m sure they couldn’t sack you for that, or at least you’d have a strong case against them.

I received an email tonight showing my July activity, was quite odd. Unfortunately nothing was listed in the future that I haven’t booked yet, which is a tad unfortunate, as I was hoping for more SC’s.

Hmmm. Best if I put any complaints in writing to the boss and not confront any employees directly.

Always the best way. I agree that it is incredibly selfish to have loud noise like this in the office.

Having been moved from an office to open plan I kind of agree but I also disagree. I guess mine was a special case because we were moved. But I took the view that I had raised my concerns about noise, distraction and lost productivity (relating to both my effect on others and their effect on me) during the consultation. As they moved me anyway I decided that I was free to continue as normal. However, I did limit my gaseous emissions in the open plan. ;)

Stuff that, I say keep the emission levels up! If you're going to break clean air standards - go the whole way or just forget it

Meanwhile, when did employees become so dumb? You want me to sit here and listening to your moaning about something not working - when it does work, and you didn't follow my Rule 1 (Read the instructions beforehand, view view the walk-thru videos if provided, and re-read after you stuff up).

Seriously, I feel that anyone who doesn't read basic, plain english instructions - then has the gall to moan about something in them, should be taken outside, shot and fed to the vultures.

Excuse the venting there, returning to normal transmission.

Does anyone still get a paper statement from QFF even though they've opted in for online statements only?

I got one yesterday with my activity detail for June (and only June). No idea why; I didn't ask for it and I switched to online statements a long time ago.
I have had a couple of random ones but there is no pattern.

I got a random paper statement when Qantas were introducing some changes about the new expiry for no activity account movement.

Did some calculations I have flown 47,655 miles so far this year, I have planned another 50,857 miles planned now just trying to plan if I can crack 100,000 miles.

My record is 59,214 miles in 2005 which included a trip to the US and a trip to Europe all within 3 weeks so should easily smash that record this year.

It looks like other countries are starting to go down similar paths to Australia in regards to broadband and getting it out to the more regional areas, although they don't mention FTTH.

The current government has done nothing to get broadband out to remote areas, or to those not so remote that dont have the options others do, in fact they have wound back deployment plans and incentives that had previously been proposed/selected.
