Man, I hate it when 4B/E open up in seat selection at about T-30! Good indication of a full flight :(
I really should have signed up for EF with the 15% off offer. At least then I'd have a better idea ....

Going back to wi-fi on Brisbane trains ... the trial starts today. One carriage has been fitted with the technology, and will be rotated around various routes for a month, followed by a three carriage trial for another month.

Wellard Technologies won the tender. So it has arrived. (Info from the MX paper)

Will it be free?

One carriage?

Yeah, I lol'd at that. But it is a trial... expanded in a month to 3 carriages, and if/when they prove it works, the roll-out will continue.

Not too surprising really. But I am curious what technology they are using.

Is that Wellard, the sheep exporter?

Ozbeachbabe, markis10 & I are sitting in the HI Esplanade (Darwin) having dinner at Sirocco using PP. Biggest dilemma is 'who will get the points?'

Yep, it rains in London - get over it ;)

Now it's my turn to return the HaHa ;) I was referring to Umbrella Company stuff!

I'm loving it over here, not sure if I ever want to return home..!

Yeah I knew, but had to make the comment. YHM.

London is great in many ways. There are some downsides, but the range of things to see and do are so much greater than any Australian city can provide.

And, living there isn't expensive either - it's a common misconception based on people visiting when the pound was 33p/$1, people who pay tourist prices for everything and similar types of cases.

But, with 500K civil servants due for the axe, the employment situation will not improve quickly.

Indeed. The job front is looking good (for what I've been looking for anyway), as it is today I've had 4 different companys call offering to put my CV forward for roles and arranage interview times. There's one role I'm waiting to hear back on tomorrow that could be interesting, so we'll see what happens there. The company is doing a lot of global expansion...
