I caught a bus to the city then bought a go card. Now I'm at the Beach House with a beer waiting for my lunch.

AFF has been extremely slow to load any page in the last couple of days?

Anyone else? I do not have internet access at home and only have internet available at work....

As the media does quite well, they are trying to make this out as if the cookie eating incident was the sole reason or largest nail coffin, when in fact it isn't. Especially if it was the former, that would be ludicrous.

I did, however, laugh at the statement made in defence:
...he respected journalists' right to ask timely questions in the public interest
Journalists may have a right to ask but the respondents have a right to a timely reply or to remain silent. In any case, that does not directly implicate the respondent if a response is not obtained. This happens so much of the time, why is it different now. Journalists can be real scum sometimes.

So what did you have for lunch? :p

Did someone say lunch, I had lunch with another AFFer today while I was in Perth.

Wandering Fred was in Perth for a few days, I thought I had been doing a bit of flying this month but I think Fred has beaten me.

I have met up with 3 Fters this trip.
Flashware in London,
thewinchester on the plane between SIN-PER
and today Wandering Fred.

In all fairness though.. when you're paying £8 each way for a flight (inc. taxes!) how can you not?! I just booked another trip, to Bratislava for £6 each way AI.

And I would have loved to have caught up with Bundy again, and Fred over lunch - however my coughing is enough to wake the dead and I'd rather not be spreading my germs.

Interesting here at DPO-3 of the 4 flights to MEL were cancelled yesterday due to "sea mist".the last flight into DPO was cancelled so no plane to fly QF 2050 at 0630 this morning-mrsdrron is scheduled out on this Monday so we are keeping an eye on it.Went to the MEL airport site and the have today's QF2050 landing 7 times between 0745 and 1115!

Well, I have my first game of hockey on Sunday. Reports are that the pitch may be frozen.... great!:p

"Welcome to the UK!"

Over 10 weeks without alcohol now.

A couple of drawbacks I have found are regular cravings for sugar and inability to feel sleepy and fall asleep after a game of golf....

Hopefully no-one here is getting stuffed about with the NAB foul up over getting wages into their account.

This is the perfect example of why you should have at least two discrete bank accounts so you can always get some funds.

Interesting that as I type this I can see an advertisement by google for NAB credit card reward programs. Surely they should be keeping a lower profile at the moment?

Few v unhappy nurses at work. Mind you the rest of Newcastle has gone ga-ga over David Beckham playing the Jets tonight. I'm tucked up at home to avoid the crowds :D
