It'd be worse if you were a nurse working in QLD with a NAB bank account.

Not only do you have to put up with an incompetent bank, you also have (had) to put up with an incompetent health system.

I had a great day.

First we went to Bunnings. Always good except this one doesn't have demo doorbells rigged up to ring

Then I went to Dreamworld where we bought season passes and rode lots of rides

On the way home we swung into Ikea where we heard a rather large display collapse. We so should have gone for a sticky beak.....

Hopefully no-one here is getting stuffed about with the NAB foul up over getting wages into their account.

This is the perfect example of why you should have at least two discrete bank accounts so you can always get some funds.

Interesting that as I type this I can see an advertisement by google for NAB credit card reward programs. Surely they should be keeping a lower profile at the moment?

Doesn't bother workers in QLD hospitals-Qld health has been stuffing up their pays for nearly a year now.

Pay day is the 15th so that should be ok. All the regular payments have gone through twice though :shock: Paid double rent, double insurance...
Tried calling NAB and they said the aproximate waiting time was 29 minutes... decided to go for a swim instead and will call them on Monday

Amazing how taking money out of accounts works (and they prove it by doing it twice), but deposits are not.

As for me, I transferred money from Westpac to HSBC and that has left the Westpac account but apparently is somewhere in the NAB clearing system.

You can't put much past anat0l but yes that is the correct answer; I did wonder how close the map on AFF was going to be, I just had to edit the heading to add Brisbane River.

No worries; just pretty amazed that I can find AFFers to catch up with anywhere, even when I am home in Brisbane.

Some of you are harder to track down than others and more difficult when some catch earlier flights.

Just checked and while my pay went in ok on Tuesday night they have doubled up my payments - 2 manual funds transfers to loans made on Wednesday. The other was strangely a doubled up an EFTPOS payment made on Friday, with the "second payment" being made on the 25th that is Thursday - so they extracted the money a day before the purchase was made. Time travel?

Will call them Monday.

It's called Drift now. Changed hands, my guess.

Doesn't really count, since it's all attached to land and otherwise well structurally supported, not that parts of it float on water per se. Uniquely, however, I think it's the only restaurant which allows one to turn up in a boat and moor.
