Well I went to the U2 concert in Brisbane tonight (or rather last night ;) ). They still have it, although are starting to show their age.

Had Red Zone tix, so awesome views of the stage, and very close to all of the action.

Good to know, I'm there tonight also in Red Zone :)

Pneumonia, been there done that don't want that bug again, you are madly coughing for 3 days and it gets harder and harder to breathe. I spent 3 days in hospital because of it. I also caught the bug after I had returned from Japan.

Get well soon.
Had pneumonia once; doctor wanted me to have 4 weeks off work and; as self employed I only had the two.

Worse, it was 1991 and my Hawks were playing in the AFL G/F; I had tickets but was too ill to go. :(

I've just arrived home from Wicked, what a great show! It's the 4th I have seen now in London.

Oliver (saw this with anat0l and Mal), Lion King, Avenue Q and now Wicked.

There's so many other great shows to see, but so little time.

Something to keep in mind - Red Zone is clearly labelled, but you may also have access to the "inner circle" around the main stage. (see map here: http://premier.ticketek.com.au/dbimages/sfx61818.gif ). You may find that you have a better view in the inner circle ... Based on how crowded the Red Zone areas were, and how few "Red Zone" wristbands I saw, not many people seem to have realised that.

Thankyou :) I'll check it out

From memory I had double pneumonia in 1988. Not a fun experience and not detected on a Sunday night by a doctor a medical centre (is there a pattern developing here with hospitals and medical centres?). Luckily I did not need to go to hospital and 5 days of injections managed to clear up the problem.

Well that explains all the weirder than usual people on the trains. Heard announcements at Milton and figured something was organised but no idea it was U2.

Apologies to all if I've been a bit quiet of late (and wondering where the rest of my Asia 2010 TR is). I'm still recovering from what I caught on the 'vomit comet' ferry ride.

I'll hopefully be on the mend by weekend's end (crossing toes, fingers, and other assorted body parts), and can finally finish those TR's. Scarily, the whole report is bordering around 18k words long, and that's without reports on CX J and the Singapore leg

I'm also midway through recovering some photos. Thanks to my own ineptitude, I

overwrote a whole ton of photos from the Japan leg and am in the process of running deep data recovery on my laptop's hard disc to get them back.

I'm still reading threads, albeit lying in bed trying not to barf up a lung I'm less inclined to reply. Look forward to more friendly banter and a finished TR soon.

Get better soon mate and don't worry about TR yet, health is far more important.

Are strategic trying to make people think they are flying U2 around?

The band are using the A319 from Skytraders, their arrival the other day into BNE also saw a heck of a lot of biz jet activity, they sure do draw a crowd of influential people.
