WE seem to do our best to make ourselves look stupid to our overseas travelers, been sitting at Circular Quay for fifteen minutes waiting for an airport train, guess what, they are bananas as they seem to be traveling in bunches, two are coming a minute apart!

Haha. And that's the consequence of using a regular track for the airport. It's good in some ways, but bad in others (compare say to BNE where trains shut down early etc).

The band are using the A319 from Skytraders, their arrival the other day into BNE also saw a heck of a lot of biz jet activity, they sure do draw a crowd of influential people.

Yeah, I heard that on Wed night, another band (also on tour around Australia currently) were at Suncorp checking them out.

Good to know Bono's environmental credentials are all intact :D

On way back to BNE airport traffic horrendous, concert was fab :D will post photos later , sadly I wasn't plucked onto the stage by Bono :(

Heard U2 last Wednesday evening.

They were in Docklands Stadium; we were at the Hilton South Wharf.

Was going to say it depends on what radio station you listen to as to what a stadium is called.

Supposed to be switching over to the a new Vodafone contract today so took the new Nokia N97 mini to work but forgot to bring the Vodafone sim card with me. :(

Looks like I am going to have fun trying to use this phone....

Well here we are, summer in Tassie and the temperature now is 13C with a strong cold wind blowing.

A few years ago I was in Hobart middle of November and I noticed icebergs floating down the Derwent River. ;)

Well not quite but it was snowing on Mt Wellington down to 300 metres and I had to have 2 jumpers on when playing golf at Claremont. Brrrrr....

That's Tassie! :)

A few years ago I landed in HBA on a Thursday in October - 33C, strong northerlies and city ringed by bushfires. The car rental guy at the airport said 'don't worry about the fires, the snow on Saturday will put them out'. And snow it did!

Starting my trip across the Tasman, Qantas Brisbane international first lounge why do the bother.

On the plane now, seat 1A should be nice, now just waiting for some connecting passengers.

Would love to do seat 1A on an A380.
