Congrats, my 2 years will come up next year! :D

Hopefully no one feels offended but it was great reading Anthony Mundine knocked out last week by an inexperienced fighter.

Time to hang up the gloves and stop trying to fool the boxing fans....

Thanks Sam,
With well over 5,000 posts in under 2 years you have excelled already :!::)

As you’ll frequently hear, it’s not the quantity, but quality. It just so happens this year I’ve had a lot of free time and AFF has managed to fill that time quite nicely.

Hopefully no one feels offended but it was great reading Anthony Mundine knocked out last week by an inexperienced fighter.

I was very pleased to see it on the news, he’s always so full of himself, so it’s a very good outcome. I don’t mind if he continues boxing, just so long as he changes his attitude a little, as it gets so annoying. :p

That is not likely to happen. He called himself the greatest Rugby League five-eighth ever when he did not even make the Australian team.

Sheer arrogance!

I believe he attributed the failure to make the Australian team to racism in the game.

Totally agree with you.
In a lighter note my family has had a true Cool Runnings moment.A nephew is working in Calgary.Met a few Aussies and hit it off. Then found out it was the Australian bobsled team. One of their members couldn't make a few meetings so they asked my nephew if he could train with them. That was 3 weeks ago.Last weekend he had his first competitive run in Utah and in a week is almost certainly a member of the Australian bobsled team at the world championships in Lake Placid.Amazing.

I am really dreading my decision to switch to Vodafone. It may just well be me but I find the Mumbai call centre is absolutely hopeless.

- I am being billed from the moment they sent the pack and not from when I started using the sim. I have lost about 8 days but no big deal in the grand scheme of things.
- I found out yesterday that I have been using the broadband sim in the mobile phone and using it to make phone calls. And if I am reading the online bill correctly I am being charged $18.00+ as I used the wrong sim. How was I able to make calls using the wrong sim and why should I have to pay for it when I have $450 worth of calls a month? Even funnier is that the "start talking" envelope in the pack had the broadband sim and the "start surfing" envelope had the mobile phone sim. How am I supposed to know the difference?

Anyone have a contact at Vodafone. I really do not know how to deal with the call centre when they are not prepared to assist and I have sent Vodafone an email instead....

Woo hoo! A dishonourable mention!

Woo hoo! A dishonourable mention!

You're the only gal amongst everyone Karen.

Saw the highest charge for excess baggage today in one hit DRW/SYD/NRT 18 pieces of luggage (all fragile) for a Japanese film crew who'd been filming lightening in the NT. Excess of 347 kg x $37.00 per kilo = $12,839.00 ouch!

Just goes to show stormchasing ain't cheap!

It's surprising they didn't ask QF (I assume) for additional baggage allowance. I know other media organisations do it!

I miss d00t, he was such good value.

On a completely unrelated subject, who is this (un)masked man ??
