Congratulations to Sam for post #10,000. :D

..... though it is tempting to go back and delete a random post somewhere :!:

I actually looked at the LAN site for a quote on SYD-AKL return in the week that I'm in Brisbane next March and it came back as $748.00,which for business class is pretty good, not sure how many SC's that fare earns (books into I class),
The return trip earns 160 SC's. I had not realised that it was now so cheap with the strong AUD.

when you consider the cost of travelling QF business from SYD-BNE then $748.00 every couple of weeks wouldn't seem too bad, (admittedly the fares will fluctuate)you could always get an apartment in Auckland.
I don't commute SYD-BNE business class but for a change scenery $748 every couple of weeks would not be a huge outlay. And as serfty mentions book it from AKL and it is ~AUD615.

But you have to leave AKL at 5.50AM:shock:
No big deal. Leave Friday morning and arrive in SYD before noon and then fly back Sunday morning.

Feel free to, it’s only a number, just don’t expect to stay at 10k for long, as I’m sure there’ll be a wave of deletions :p

And I see one post has disappeared, but now how many more? :D

It has begun!

The timetable for the week that I looked at (March 28/29) shows the ex AKL flight as leaving at 06:50 so it probably changes after daylight saving anyway.

Congrats to Sam as he was able to show proof; some of us have been working, better working inside the air conditioning than doing stuff outside in this heat.
