After an in flight emergency (sick pax whom I was asked to assist) back on Boxing day, at the end of the flight, the FA took my boarding pass "to write it up". Disappointed I havent heard a thing from QF.

Also still slightly shirty about the fact that I had used my hard earned points for a JASA and spent 80% of the flight attending to said passenger.
You are not alone. On QF when i spent most of the time back in Y from my J seat SIN-LHR I got a bottle of wine and a 747 model from the purser and not even a letter from QF.Would have got a lot more if the IFE wasn't working.

Do Translink/QF proof-read their signage before printing...

...will not being charging customers...

*facepalm*

Could be worse: check which website they are asking you to check (no, not the URL, the description of the website).

I can vouch there is nothing funny about our transport system. Well, at least none of that kind of "funny".....

Damn at no inflight HICAPS - maybe ask for a manual Medicare voucher?? :p

Besides - if presenting problem was pink and breathing - well, no problem really ;)

Maybe I should have put in a complaint that I was unable to watch the IFE.:evil:

So QR Translink has removed the option to purchase daily and off-peak daily paper tickets. Also in the past Saturday and Sunday were off-peak travel all day and now only single paper tickets available. :(

Can anyone recommend anything in Brisbane City tonight that does not involve frequenting an establishment that allows under 35's inside? I was at the Brisbane Casino last night and let's just say the more I see of today's youth the less respect I have for them.

P.S I should not generalise but not all of today's youth are like the riff raff that frequent the Brisbane Casino...

Well i have upset mrsdrron again. As WP she never gets closer forward than row 4 on the MEL-DPO-MEL services.Once again as usual i have been allocated row 2 as a QPNB.

Yep. Very nasty move by Translink. They are a bunch of idiots - yep, price public transport out of the reach of patrons. BTW, it's comforting to know that daily capping is available on the Go Card - just that they will only do it if you have certain concession cards.

There are a few RSL's around the place that will have an older crowd. Ditto for a few bars in town. But can't think of too many options around the CBD.

Decided to stay home and watch the Fugitive instead. I am never bored of that movie and Harrison Ford is one of my favourite actors with Tommy Lee Jones also in good form as a US Marshal.

While watching the movie I found a bargain airfare on the QF website SIN-MEL-SYD//BNE-SYD-MEL-SIN for ~AUD800. This airfare trumps my previous good find of BKK-HKG-SYD-HKG-BKK.

Well at least wifi available in MEL QP today but so frustrating continually dropping out.

This afternoon I watched the ABC coverage of Cpl Roberts-Smith receiving his VC. It sounded like the PM called him Corporate Robber Smith

Pretty impressive postnominals - VC MG!

I can see him going a long way in the DF if he keeps his head down.

A lovely family shot in the article as well.

I dont think I have ever seen a SASR member identified by their rank before in public, very impressive speech and humble attitude shown on the news last night by the Corporal.
