If you miss the departure tomorrow I believe there is another scheduled on the 4th leaving on the 5th of Feb. And you probably heard the APU running.

I have permission to go to the airport early.  The birthday party starts at 11:30, so I should get back before the end.

I did another loop past after I left the QP and the aircraft was locked up and silent. Must have been the APU, they were stuffing around loading or unloading when I first got there and took the pictures.

I don't mind the one with fetta and pumpkin on it. But it's very hard to get a decent piece, probably about 1 in 15.
Personally I think QF need new suppliers for their pizza.

If you get a chance try out the Gonzoleta pacetta. Never again....

You almost make it sound like getting anytime access post 01 Feb when not travelling would be easier that getting 'permission' to leave home earlier!

It is always worth remembering that it is easier to get 'forgiveness' than it is to get 'permission'.

I read a quote by US Comedian Roseanne Arnold "power is something no-one gives you, you just take it". Don't go trying that one at home Medhead!

It is my first daughter's 10th birthday so permission was very important. luckily the inlaws helped with the party.

Felicia's off to boarding school in Sydney today, on the plus side can claim QFF points paying via CC, minus side is of course the fees.

I had to use Wikipedia to work out the reference to Felicia (and of course Princess Fiona). :D

My mum had to pay for my cousin's B Dental Sci degree fees. My cousin was an international student so her fees were huge. Her parents transferred the money then Mum had to "pre-load" her credit card before paying the university.

Needless to say she raked in a huge amount of points, although this was before I found AFF and I think our university at the time didn't accept Amex (and Amex wasn't vogue at that time anyway). Still, it was a lot of points.

I don't quite get this reference.

I don't think Princess Fiona is a dragon *puts on flame-resistant armor; runs away*

I had withdrawals from my non-flying period (26/12/10 - 29/1/11) so after the wake on the w/end, I had to book another flight for this w/end. QF (but only because it was a freebie from my credit card ;))

Lets hope the weather is cooler for your visit to Brisbane, but I don't like your chances.

Beginning of the month and MEL QP seems quiet, not even lines for barista.;)

Based on the lovely 'little storm' rolling in from the NE, I dare say it'll be disgusting.

Fortunately, drinks and Canapés on in the Hilton Executive Lounge on Friday evening will negate this issue.

Exec floors of the Hilton BNE are actually quite nice now:)
