Dear Qantas.

Yes an airplane needs fuel to fly, and no, sending the tanker .accidentally to the plane next to us instead of ours doesn't assist with an on time departure.

Just watched an old Qantas ad lol.

There slogan use to be "We're coming to get you"

Just arrived home after a SYD-OOL flight. Just before pushback the captain came on to talk about the delays, he finished with "Thank you for flying Virgin Australia, Enjoy the Journey"

He stole the line from Qantas:!:

What a day.Just arrived home from SYD.JQ788 left nearly 2.5hours late.In fact left 30 minutes after JQ790 to MCY which was scheduled 1.5 hours after 788.
However an OOL and MEL JQ flight after ours were cancelled.
And have Audi dealers in Sydney been giving away licences with every vehicle sold,no experience necessary?Nearly wiped out half a dozen times by Audis this morning.
And can someone tell me why women driving large 4WDs have to come to an absolute stop at speed bumps. My rental can take them without a drop in speed at all!;)

Hmm, wondered how that Ford Focus with NSW rego ended up in the DRW hertz fleet with no hubcaps and 60000Ks on the clock, it drove like an Excel .

Speaking of Ford/Audi and rental cars.. I just booked my hire car for Ireland and it was only an extra tenner a day for the Audi A4 over a Ford Fiesta.. no brainer!

Today could be the beginning of something special. Or at least that is what I am hoping....

some of my facebook buddies know that im current in transit in the middle of nowhere AMM - 11 hrs to be exact - fra-amm-cdg 160sc and ~5k points. going to be a slooooooow wait.

Today marks 3 full years in Brisbane and my current job. Not sure whether that is a good thing or not but I am hoping that with each passing day I get closer to going home.

And the funny part is that this job is my second longest job. The longest job was ~13 years and the last 12 years has seen much shorter jobs and a lot of time off in between. I guess that is more to do with the impact of Y2K on IT.

And I tipped it in the NRL comp.

Have absolutely no interest in the game though. I imagine the daily terror will be sooking hard in the morning though.

Am in my tenth winter here in CBR and I think it is the coldest. Like you each day I dream about returning home (to MEL).

Hopefully you wont get to 10 years up there.

I am in Queensland. I'm also the only person in Queensland not watching that game where two teams in opposite colors run around trying to get a ball from one side of the field, to the other.

However, the family next door is screaming at their TV. I thought I would let them listen to what I’m hearing…

“NO, DON'T COOK THE FISH, USE TO CHICKEN, NO NO ARGHHH, GOD THE JUDGE IS A TOOL. THAT CLEARLY WAS RAW..... DON'T DO THAT, STOP STOP STOP STOP, OHH ARGHHHH "

They went quite quiet shortly afterwards, I think they got the picture
