No, it is in a place the public can visit but not the part this thing is situated.

Long day.Meant to depart PER at 0905, delayed until 1130.Meant I missed my flight to Wellington, so rescheduled to tomorrow morning and provided with hotel room After waiting 90 minutes for bag, it is temporarily misplaced:evil:. Hopefully it is with me on the way to Wellington tomorrow morning.Was told to go to super shuttle when I got my hotel info. After 30 minutes of asking around they sent me back to QF:evil:, who then apologised profusely and issued me with 2 x cab vouchers.So then I stood in the taxi queue at T3 for 45 minutes:evil::evil:...bah.Over it. Hopefully my bag turns up. I just want to get to Wellington and start my holiday!!!

There's a nice restaurant near by that we visited at the end of one of the AFF Do's.

I did notice a few places when I got here.

Although QF are (obviously) picking up the tab at the hotel so there is not much point spending my own cash!

Just waiting for breakfast to open now...then eat and off to the airport. Hopefully my bag finds me.

Is this Novotel Brighton Beach? I booked to stay there on the 15th. How was it? Did you get a good view of the airport by any chance?

Just been offered a really interesting role. FIFO, 4/2 (weeks), J return (not to somewhere else in Europe, but somewhere close, so make of that what you will) and will get my *A status back up pretty quickly. SWMBO has given me the thumbs up.....

The BLS Novotel was a frequent haunt of mine back in my Adv+ days.

There's more than a dozen restaurants within a 3 minute walk of the place. Many 'seafood' - the one referred to by Flash was "The Lazy Lobster". There was a reasonable BYO french restaurant "La Rousse" with a liquor store across the road from it.

Sort of like Fitzroy St St. Kilda or "the Corso" at Manly.

Interesting role. Presume North Africa, or one of the tax havens like Jersey. Although FIFO sounds like mining, so I'll stick with North Africa.
