I think some company has hijacked the CX website because each time I try to log on it says "congratulations you are todays QLD winner" & wants me to select my 'prize' which happens to be a chance to win an IPAD. Zooming in on the fine print it says a membership fee of $10.00 is payable plus you are charged a minimum of 3 x $5.00 texts each week. :evil:

I've been entertaining myself with the qantas facebook wall. Some guy called qantas a bad word because they gave him points for a non earning fare on AA but rejected his claim for other non earning AA flights. Rather funny. Post has been deleted now.

OK well after a few months break from AFF I have become bored with talking to myself so I'm back posting again,haven't travelled much in the last few months apart from regular REX ABX-MEL day returns but I have booked another week in Brisvegas from January 20th to 27th,this time staying at the Holiday Inn and hoping to actually get some sightseeing done this time,hope the weather is ok.
Looking forward to catching up with AFF news.

Good to see you're back. I don't know how fluid your flight arrangements are for 27Jan but if you were here for an extra day several of us are going on a Flounge run on 28 Jan am on QF8 to SYD then JQ35 to MEL as it's trippin_the_rift's brithday. The link to the thread is below:

Welcome back - where is your trip to BNE booked out of? MEL? SYD? ABX?

if your trip to BNE was booked as ABX-xSYD-BNE-xSYD-ABX, it would be hard to change the trip credit to accommodate an excursion to MEL the next day.

If it was booked MEL-BNE-MEL it still would be tough to vary the return to include via SYD at reasonable cost.

Hi Serfty,

I booked it as two separate bookings because the DJ morning flight ex ABX was better timed for me than the QF one so I am travelling ABX-SYD,SYD-BNE on DJ and BNE-SYD,SYD-ABX on QF,the QF flight is a Red e deal,$262.90.
