Some might be aware that NAB's computer systems are offline today, and no Internet Banking, Phone Banking, ATMs or EFTPOS are working. Even though Qantas has nothing to do with this outage, News.com felt the need to stick a photo of a Qantas Pilot with the news story.

I mean sure, it was proabley Qantas' fault somehow, right?

Well I have to admit we have our share of idiots on the Sunshine Coast.Today driving north along the Nicklin Way in the school zone outside Kawana High.I am in the right lane,inside me is a bus both doing 60Ks as 30 metres behind us is a police car.A fellow comes in from the left,pulls out behind me and is obviously impatient.bus pulls i to a stop,I pull over to left lane.Idiot accelerates only to find out that police cars can accelerate faster.
And there is a TV campaign on at present re speeding in school zones.

Currently at SYD food court awaiting my flight. Possibly the best airport to sit and watch the going-ons!

Was delayed ~1hr out of MEL this morning. Got one the old blue seating planes. A bit ratty tatty, hoping for better on the return!

I agree,in T2 there is an outlet called Bar2020,it has a long bench that overlooks the tarmac ,I could happily sit there for hours.

Have just returned from the US where my value system was assaulted. Their beer is just a tad over 50 cents Australian in 30 packs plus tax. Imagine the idiots on our roads if our authorities didn't add a buck of taxes on our Aussie beer.

Argh, goto my gate and flight is pushed back 45min. Now been at SYD for ~3 hrs with no lounge access! If only DJ still sold lounge passed!

You know, I've always glanced at that place as I've wandered through the airport, I'll have to stop and check it out next time, the good view didn't cross my mind.

Original boarding at 18:35.... then 18:45.... then 18:55.... now 19:05.... who knows when it will board.... the only flight I have noticed with delays.... Good to see the new year has not changed anything for me....

I thought a 30 minute delay falls within the realms of normal for you JohnK.
