Hopefully not an affer, but the borish bloke on a recent flight was one of the best i have seen in a while.

Well Mr air nz gold elite, im sure the lass was very impressed with your 18 flight per year and the moaning and groaning about virgin Australia not being like air nz.

I laughed even more when a pax was plucked from near you and upgraded to pe seats.

Oh and i loved my free video player offer and even a free drink offer. Looks like virgin elites are treated better...

Oh what terribly sad news this is,I think Mark has summed it up perfectly by saying the world has lost a good man.
R.I.P Jim.

A true gentleman. The world should have more like him.Was lucky enough to sit near him at a restaurant in Melbourne 2 years ago.he was trying to lift the spirits of his fellow diners.true class.

Currently sitting in the BA Galleries First Lounge in JNB awaiting IB6050 to MAD and then BCN to start my next DONE5. Just got over here on QF63. I was in J and partner was in Y (couldn't get a J one-way award ticket!).

After last week being in Melbourne and getting an upgrade at HSW to the Relaxation Suites, getting op-ups to J SYD-CNS and upgrades at Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas and Hilton Cairns, and today breezing through First Check-In and ExpressPath Security at SYD, a breakfast in the SYD F Lounge and several glasses of Bollinger, a request for medical advice on the flight, and my partner being brought up to J next to me, and now awaiting our J flights to BCN, I think my partner finally gets why I put the effort into maintaining WP, Hilton Diamond and SPG Gold!

Quite impressed with BRU as a connecting port. Certainly much better than CDG anyway. On top of that... the SN short haul intra-euro J product is much better than AF's and the food is better, too. All round win:!:

Was having a drink at the local speakeasy tonight and had a visiting acquaintance express to me the reason they don’t fly Qantas anymore is because they don’t think their planes are safe anymore. Good to see the unions did a good job there!

Didn’t bother getting into it, just kept drinking and nodding. But interesting to see what Qantas is up against with average (or perhaps if I’m honest, slightly below average) intelligence people and their views.

Well spotted. I saw that and all. ;)

Not that they had much to say.

Must admit - as I was watching I was wondering......love those lead lined cupboards stuffed to the brim.
