How do you find RJ as an airline? I love the onboard service.
Service was excellent, slept through the food although got woken each time and asked if I wanted something (they need do no disturb stickers!!) so can't comment on that. Entertainment was okay, although I think I have seen almost everything playing on every airline now... (gave up and watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy for a 3rd time; and then about 10 minutes of Johnny English 2 before landing. If we'd circled for longer I may have to have scratched out my eyes or watch TTSS for a 4th time...)
Crown lounge in Jordan was ok, breakfast selection is rather limited like in much of Jordan (lots of bread, salty cheese, tomato and cucumber) and the coffee machine wasn't great, but they have a bank of TVs with headsets and movies on demand - mostly older movies but great distraction during a long layover. (I watched Atonement which I think is a few years old)
My main issue was that I'm not that tall and didn't have a lot of leg room - it just seemed like the seat pitch in Y wasn't as much as other airlines and my knees were against the seat ahead. I did one leg in business (BKK-KUL) and that was great, although it's slightly odd having a 3 course meal at 3pm, and given the brevity of the flight (2hrs) it feels like takeoff, meal, landing occur back-to-back-to-back,
Overall they were a good option, but probably not one I'd go out of my way to seek, if that makes sense. The service was good but there was nothing spectacular about RJ that would make me choose them over any other airline - only SCs! Perhaps my views are a little tarnished by the 22hours of travelling and realising that I flew over my destination by 2 hours then backtracked

Why go direct when you can connect, right?!
