I'm glad someone else has connected the dots. The writing style is identical, and IIRC, that is their 3rd or 4th "persona" I've seen. They keep flicking between male and female personas too. A very, very confused soul.

I have a feeling I know who it is too. Same person who I've made a few snide remarks at? ;)

Has anyone ever seen a charge from "Hotels Global Investment Group"? Just showed up for £193 and I haven't booked anything the last few days. I looked back through some bookings I've made for my parents recently who are heading over here and nothing seems to match up there either....

Ok NAB has finally pushed me over the pain threshold, the useless sods. Anyone prepared to nominate another bank that might be less annoying.

Best as I can tell, they are based in Krakow!

Apparently you can't get duty free onboard QF7/8 any longer whether or not this is the reconfigured 744 or not. Perhaps that's the reason QF8 has dropped in to NOU & AKL a couple of times of late.

Reminds me of that famous 80's xx_X beer commercial.

I wonder if they had complaints from pax about offloaded bags / fuel stops but still carting all that duty free.

Interesting - there must be a decent profit in it given the fuel used to cart this stuff around (in the era of some airlines reducing/removing the in flight mag to save fuel).

I recall reference to this when the first of the reconfigured 3 class Ers came back on line.

It seems they did not allow any storage for Duty free - along with a significant reduction in the number of toilets.

Wow, amazing that he didn't shoot his own legal counsel and the deceaseds' lawyer as well. Did he have a premonition that they wouldn't pay and had brought the gun along to convince them??

Dunno. Expected settlement one way or another.

What amazes me are the comments-most imply that those who were shot deserved it.What a mad country.

Clap, clap, clap for ge.

My new coles mc has my name as <initial> <complete middle name> <complete surname>.

My old card had all in full but it appears they've decided to economise on characters.

Haha. Idiots. Ill probably ask them to reissue it.
A little more famous that way. You are now in the same league as

C. Thomas Howell
F. Murray Abrahams

etc etc....

Next step would be to have 2 initials only such as

JK Rowling

and then you can be rich and famous! ;)

Whatever happened to one time hopeful Presidential candidate Texan H. Ross Perot?

At risk of dragging this thread further on topic, but needed to rant to get this off my chest - carefully waiting in line at BKK to check in for my flight to KUL on RJ

How do you find RJ as an airline? I love the onboard service.

Service was excellent, slept through the food although got woken each time and asked if I wanted something (they need do no disturb stickers!!) so can't comment on that. Entertainment was okay, although I think I have seen almost everything playing on every airline now... (gave up and watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy for a 3rd time; and then about 10 minutes of Johnny English 2 before landing. If we'd circled for longer I may have to have scratched out my eyes or watch TTSS for a 4th time...)
Crown lounge in Jordan was ok, breakfast selection is rather limited like in much of Jordan (lots of bread, salty cheese, tomato and cucumber) and the coffee machine wasn't great, but they have a bank of TVs with headsets and movies on demand - mostly older movies but great distraction during a long layover. (I watched Atonement which I think is a few years old)

My main issue was that I'm not that tall and didn't have a lot of leg room - it just seemed like the seat pitch in Y wasn't as much as other airlines and my knees were against the seat ahead. I did one leg in business (BKK-KUL) and that was great, although it's slightly odd having a 3 course meal at 3pm, and given the brevity of the flight (2hrs) it feels like takeoff, meal, landing occur back-to-back-to-back,

Overall they were a good option, but probably not one I'd go out of my way to seek, if that makes sense. The service was good but there was nothing spectacular about RJ that would make me choose them over any other airline - only SCs! Perhaps my views are a little tarnished by the 22hours of travelling and realising that I flew over my destination by 2 hours then backtracked ;) Why go direct when you can connect, right?!

Awaiting my idiot parent of the day award. My phone is now drying in a zip lock bag if rice grains after stupidly letting Little Miss go swimming by herself at a party and having to jump in and pull her out after falling off a lilo in the middle of the pool. Idiot!

Very brave and valiant of you (of course, what any good parent does for their child), but surely Little Miss can swim?

Apart from failing to remove the phone from your person before jumping in (even if it was bothering to toss it aside), I fail to see the foolishness in you that you seem to deem yourself worthy of. :o

And my asus will be heading back in for repair. No idea how i manage to kill the motherboard... Esp. Since the three times it has died have been in entirely different power and even location grids. Power pack was replaced last time, motherboard has already been replaced twice.

Liam... Stop laughing.

Potentially it could be a bizarre interaction between it and my Hawaei mobile broadband but really don't know. I use it with that laptop frequently so its not the main cause.
