Have you arranged the live streaming of the wedding Flashware?
Did you use a magic wand to get the sun to shine ?
Good luck is all you need and the olds should be with you now for the big event.

The Australian contingency just got greater (Sitting at T5 BA Arrivals lounge now awaiting my hotel to open my room).

Looking forward to Saturday :)

Shall give you a buzz once I finish at the dentist :( and see what's happening:!:

Proud to be a Queenslander!

Not really! :p But if I am still working here on 1st October I get an extra public holiday. ;) Now that is what I call a great idea....

We all have our fingers crossed for you Flashware.

My father was given an engraved tankard as a wedding gift in 1963, it reads:

"A man is incomplete until he is married"

There is a second line but inappropriate given the circumstances.

Mrs LW and I wishing you and Mrs Flashware2B all the joy for your big day.

Best wishes Dan for the big day!

Cheers all....... prob no webcam but will try get some pics up....

Didn't they just move the June Queens birthday holiday out to October to spread them more through out the year. I didn't think it was an extra holiday

This year is the first year they're moving the Queen's Birthday away from June.

But this year is also an exception - it's the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Hence, the extra holiday for this year.

Was going to be taking advantage of that, mixing it into my roster, but no need now.......!

Is it just me ? Or does it seem bizarre that school teachers who receive 12 weeks paid annual leave still want student free days for planning? Surely they could afford to give up say 4 of the 60 week days in that 12 week holiday for planning? I know as a self employed business person I have to restrict my leisure time if required.

Don't get me wrong, I have great admiration for the work school teachers do, ( I wouldn't want to do it) even if plenty of them can't spell.

Should be on the "Can Do Campbell" hit list of cleaning up ALP's top 1,000 stuff ups.

Wow, tell me all about the mining tax hurting the miners. OLP is undergoing a major expansion. This is the airport that will either be under a big pile of rocks in 5 to 10 years or a big hole.

Both my parents were teachers and I can assure you that a lot of work gets done on holidays and weekends. Sure that's normal for small business but not so much for employees.

Oh wait. There are only a couple of delays and one of them is my flight! :p

Back to normal. Luck was too good to last....

Just about all am departures to SYD today were delayed due to SYD ATC requirements so that would flow on to aircraft operating SYD back to BNE. Don't know to what extent delays were ex SYD.

Thanks ozbeachbabe!

I am still in the Qantas lounge and QF539 has just been called. I am on QF537 which was due to depart at 3:25pm and apparently we have been waiting for the cleaners to get off aircraft for the last 20 minutes or so.

Not good at all. I wonder if flight was boarding now and I was still on my way whether I would still be allowed to board....
