Yes, it's usually as you found it today. Low volume, easy listening. Have you been back to London since we were there in January?
Yep, that's how I normally find it, espacially after I have lunched and head down to the South End at SYD or the West in MEL.

A bit different from a group 'event'.

As long as there are no wires and a battery in there it should be ok.

Nah. I keep them in my carryon ;)

Not yet no. I haven't spent much time in MEL this year though. It's been a little hectic. A week in LHR, then off to BOS before a quick jaunt back to LHR then home. Then, back to LOTFAP a few days later.

Fun and games.

I was on my way to the airport - don't think I saw any big yachts (and as I was flying South, unlikely to go overhead!)

Would have been a good experience for you!

Looks like some of us are talking to the media again..

Frequent flyers left out in the cold

That's just what we need. more elites to take our already scarce seats </tongue_in_cheek>

Some of the comments, as usual, are priceless.

What a sad world we have created when you FF Status is something to protect and be proud of. Shallow, egotistical nobodies in search of yet another freebie

Thanks Irene!

And to Jason, for only paying taxes

Irene, how right you are. Although our recent family holiday in a cabin on the A380 cost us airport taxes only. Wonderful thing freebies. I say the more the merrier. Shollow? No. Egotistical? Possibly. Nobody, nobody with free flights?

I wonder if he also booked one of those JQ flights that had more in taxes and points than paying for the fare outright ;)

No, my wife doesn't have a big zoom - she was fairly subtle that she'd like it next ;) (and she has a birthday coming up)

Will be racing in the B2G again next year, so make sure she has it before then!!

SO! That's where you've been :p

:cool:Yep! Flew in from SEA on Wednesday & was onboard at QCYC Thurs night!
The (amazing) party in Gladstone on Sunday was not dissimilar to a big fun AFF / FT / MP do, except we were comparing sail sizes & boat speeds rather than planes. Browsing through a marina is right up there with a Tarmac tour.

Had hoped the start would be on the screen in the Flounge from 10:45 to 11 ish Friday, for you to all enjoy while you were having a pre meal drink!;) Hope the JQ35 run was fun too.

Yes, It was a fabulous experience:mrgreen:. Most sailors never get to go in an offshore race, let alone on a 100 foot replica tall ship from the 1800s & spend 3 nights onboard.

Will do ;)

You were on that - oh, we thought that was a boat sailing between the mainland and islands. We waved but you wouldn't have seen us (and likewise)

Wouldn't you rather what I have to look forward to...

I really hope on Saturday we see more of that sun part, rather than the rain part... Yesterday had some nice sunshine laying around! Fingers crossed...:!:

8.9 earthquake of Aceh, oh dear, felt in SIN and India.

Apparently tourists in coughet and other resorts being moved to higher ground and flights to HKT being diverted... At least according to nonews; flightstats showing 1 flight as being diverted and a few that haven't landed that probably should have - ?circling ?flightstats delay?

Evacuations reported in coastal Malaysia and also Sri Lanka.

Reports indicate a Tsunami has been generated, magnitude TBA.

I'm sure the two of us from MEL can bring some nice weather (in SIN en route now!)

Have you arranged the live streaming of the wedding Flashware?
Did you use a magic wand to get the sun to shine ?
Good luck is all you need and the olds should be with you now for the big event.

We all have our fingers crossed for you Flashware.

My father was given an engraved tankard as a wedding gift in 1963, it reads:

"A man is incomplete until he is married"

There is a second line but inappropriate given the circumstances.

Mrs LW and I wishing you and Mrs Flashware2B all the joy for your big day.

Go on Lindsay, don't keep us in suspense!

Definition of a bachelor: "a man who hasn't made the same mistake once"!

Sun has been on and off .. however, the forecast for Saturday has now changed to no rain ; let's hope it stays that way!
