Hey I will be back in Brisbane in a few hours which is still totally alien to me after living there for 3 months....
Anyone from anywhere other than Brisbane has to be considered an alien :p. I still remember the signs at US immigration at LAX back in the early 1990's (or was it late 1980's??) when the queues for non-US citizens were clearly signed for "Aliens". The current politically correct signs state "Visitors". So I was once an official alien .

So we're aliens....

....yet go to LOTFAP and you'll be the one that gets a probing!

The more the merrier!

Cool. As long as it's not tonight or this weekend :) Meh just jumping on the bandwagon.

In any case, my vote goes for the Holiday Inn bar at Roma St (out of what's been suggested.) Otherwise, I don't have much preference for place, but I like hotel lounges or bars better. And preferably a place where you don't need to shout louder than at a rock concert to be heard at 50 cm.

See staying on topic is much more productive for the post count ;)

I'm thinking about the  thread on FT (OMNI)....

Which reminds me that we need to organise a drink one night...
I am only here till the end of the week then off to Thailand for 2 weeks. If you are interested in a drink this week then send me a PM or post on this thread.

Holiday Inn sounds like a good place to meet and I think I still have a 2 for 1 drink coupon from my stay there in July.

Anyone else interested is also welcome....

Weird - when I click on the "go to last post" button on this thread - it takes me to he first post

Anyone interested in drinks in Brisbane tomorrow night?

Tomorrow meaning Thursday 25/09?

I'd be up for that - as long as there's a quorum.

EDIT:
Isnt thursday the 25th? Or do you mean Wednesday the 24th?

Thanks mr_greg444; stupid mistake on my part. Now fixed :)

I wonder if that changes people's plans that were reading this thread.... (hopefully for the better - besides, tomorrow is pay day for me :D)
