Hope drinks went well last night.

Now we have to make sure that this thread stays ahead of the Amex thread....:shock:

There was less than a handful present, but rounds well received. Next time I've got to carry some of the drinks.

And in case you were wondering, naught but one transaction done on Amex during the night. :-| (MJ's have a $20 minimum on cards; that's at least a round of 4 house beers - excuse me, I'm not good with sizes of beer glasses... )

I would have stayed longer, except that unlike my colleagues who joined in imbibing ale, they had a "short haul" (or hop) to get home. I, on the other hand, not only had a "medium haul" to get home, but by the time I decided to get a wriggle on I had been "paged" many times to go home.

Drinks went very well. Mal, Anat0l and myself were present with a last minute apology from Bundy Bear. We will be looking to hold another Brisbane night out end of October.

At least the off topic thread makes sense.

I took a rain check; sorry I could not make it, I was trying to chase people out the door at work so I could close up and get away on time, but that didn't happen, and I really have had my alcohol rations for the week with New Zealand and all.

Definitely interested a get together later in October.
