Yes, they want you to get in more flying before you undergo the scalpel. So when is it re-scheduled? Hope it doesn't conflict with any of your forward plans - hell, you have to get it done, considering your touring in 2013 :o

Should be a few nervous bankers watching proceedings in the High Court today!

The test case against ANZ over fees.

I know which side I think should win, but the reality is that it could go either way.

Going to be expensive for the banks if they lose though.

Did I miss something?

I didn't realise. Shows how much attention I was paying. Any time frame on a result?
Just went looking for news item, can see anything on SMH.

Nothing as yet on their Facebook page - I'm one of the 170k

For those interested in the Court transcript, see it here. To quote James Middleweek:

"The hearing seemed to go well. Expect a decision in the next 6-8 weeks. Hopefully, the High Court will leave its mark on this issue, and the banks will be dragged to the table."

@ drron: Another pimple, or just trying to have elective surgery in the middle of winter (read: no beds)?

Besides, now you have more time to finish your TR (which is awesome by the way)....

Booked to fly MEL-BNE-MEL this weekend on Jetstar and Tiger. (Cheapest by far on such short notice..)

3 weeks ago we were flying TG F back from Europe...

Why Tiger? With the JQ price beat I can't see any reason to fly them. It should be far enough in advance to get a price match??

...Unless you actually enjoy going through the Melbourne branch of Guantanamo Bay (a.k.a. MEL T4) ??

So who came up with that silly saying-third time lucky. Was booked for the third time for my knee surgery tomorrow.now cancelled.Think the gods are trying to tell me something:(

Damn, hope it goes okay whenever it actually happens.

Weren't you about to have it done last time I saw you 2-3 years ago??

Did a price beat for MEL-BNE leg but the times didnt align for the way back.

Funny how only a few years ago I wouldn't have been concerned flying LCC... how times have changed since I came to AFF...

I was dropped in front of T4 on the weekend, and out of curiosity ventured inside for a look. I did not stay long. I guess ultimately it is just another queue to a check in counter but it was so small and bleak (and crowded), it was a very unappealing look, and not something to tempt someone into flying TT (it has its place, and I'm not going to rule out flying it, but it is certainly not top of my list).

As I sit in front of the TV tonight I feel I must demonstrate my support for euthanasia.

From Wikipedia

"The British House of Lords Select Committee on Medical Ethics defines euthanasia as "a deliberate intervention undertaken with the express intention of ending a life, to relieve intractable suffering""

MrsH is watching Big Brother and I have to say euthanasing the contestants would certainly relieve my intractable suffering and increase the average IQ of Australia at the same time.

Whats with the refusal of Panadol (or Panadial as my 3yr old calls it). We effectively have to restrain him and force it down his throat..
When I was younger I hated medicine. Mum used to beg me but I would not budge.

It is a shame as that medicine may have done me some good. Now I can swallow medicine without water. Who would have thought. :(

JB Hi-Fi's 20% off Samsung notebooks too good to refuse...went from not even considering a new laptop this morning to buying one tonight!

Very excited...love getting new kit! 15" and only 1.6kg...should be great for travelling. (Unlike my 15.6" DV6 behemoth...)

Not good. But don't bad things happen in 3's?

Some workplaces have an alcohol free policy.

Mine has a full bar.

Nice to have a break from my desk for a bit as a crazy week comes to an end.

Gardens point or UQ.

Either way I misspent youth there.
