In any case, I'm not fussed how she spends her points. She's not into travel like me, and probably cares much, much less about premium class travel than even JohnK, so no point leading a horse to water if it won't drink.
Am I that bad?

I do care about premium class travel as long as the price point is right for me not the airline.

~10-25% for premium economy
~25-50% for business class
~50-100% for First class

Perception of comfort only lasts so long when you travel frequently. Back to Thailand again next month in a mixture of economy and business class travel.

Serfty and Ozbeachbabe think Mrscove would be ready for a longcut to New York. Now that would be a big ask seeing we have just started dropping in to Adelaide and Melbourne on the way to Sydney and I snuck those in.
Of course our luggage and us got separated for quite a few hours so doing that again could be a big maybe.
I had better send her over to you for to work on as she thinks she has an inexhaustible supply of points!

Ah, young love on JQ404 from SYD-OOL. Concealed by a large purple blanket. Subtlety was not their strongpoint.

Having a tough night tonight and glad I am now going to bed.

My 2.5 yo son woke up at 10pm with the familiar "pains in my legs, Mummy & Daddy". It's been 2 hours of complete mayhem, screaming, cold & heat packs, milk and the frustrating refusal to have Baby Panadol. That and him changing his mind about who he wanted in the room from time to time.

I still have no idea how my daughter in the next room slept through it all.

I'm sure he'll be an inch taller when he wakes up tomorrow. I think they are both asleep (my wife is in his bed) but I dare not go in to check on them.

Sometimes it's hard being a father and the feeling of pounding the walls in impotent fury is strong at the moment. There, that's my venting done...

Whats with the refusal of Panadol (or Panadial as my 3yr old calls it). We effectively have to restrain him and force it down his throat..

And we gave up on trying to improve his sleeping, now my wife has to put him to bed, and at some point in the night, he wanders into our bed, climbs up and over us and just lies in between us, usually without waking us up at all..

Thanks Mella2007 and SeatBackForward. To add to my confusion, this morning when I woke my wife wasn't in our marital bed (expected) or in with my son (unexpected). She was in with our daughter....??

Normally, both kids love medicine and self administer the filled syringe. But he was in too much pain to think straight.

Well, at least they were all sleeping soundly when I left for my morning walk, now to see if they're awake yet - bet my son and wife aren't!

SeatBackForward, we normally have one or both in bed with us when we wake up in the morning. But our King is just too small for 4!

And doesn't it just rip at your heartstrings! I heard a well known pharmacist talking on a regular radio spot about a child with growing pains; suggestion was magnesium supplements. Bear in mind that was for a teenager (I would not for a moment suggest you dose your babe). But the explanation was that when they are having a growth spurt, the bones are growing quicker than the muscles and ligaments can, consequently it must feel almost like a muscle strain or tear - and we know how much they hurt. My son at age 14 grew 3 inches in six months, hard to tell if he was hurting - he was being a pain-in-the-bum teenager all the time! Something for you to look forward to, Lindsay. Anyway hope the little feller's brighter this morning

Got an email today from the School Manager that almost all of the School's Finance and HR staff are away today ("and possibly tomorrow") due to sickness.

If it's this brutal 'flu that's going around, then it's certainly filled its quota for this year and then some.

Ha! Number two is due next month, I wonder when we'll be getting a King bed upgrade..
Best wishes for number 2, it's a slight change from 1, just a little more planning and that first 3 months of broken sleep until routines are established.

Was he unwell this morning :o? Looks fine according to the photos my wife is sending through on their shopping excursion. I forgot to measure him this morning :o
