We are watching the game too Flashware. The aerial shots are pretty useless but fortunately the camera work is better than the Adelaide game last night.

A close game, cove & Flashware. Very low scoring but like you both, I want the Eagles to win. 60 to 58 in favour of the Eagles at the moment! Go you good things !!!

I spoke too soon, Goldsack kicks a goal - the Pies ahead. What was that Eagles player doing - that kick out of their defensive 50 was a shocker!

Wellingham marks with a kickable distance. Should wrap it up...and it does :(

Damn, Eddie will be smiling...I was hoping for the reverse

Why? Collingwood vs Hawthorn grand final looks good.

Well much better than boring Sydney vs Adelaide where both should not even be this far....

I know some people are annoyed with these posts but you don't have to read them.

For anyone that is interested today has been my first day going to OOL to return to SYD. Can you believe that my flight is delayed? :( Only slightly delayed but delayed just the same. I think delays follow me everywhere I go. :p

I am not sure how a flight arriving at 19:45 is going to be ready to take off at 20:10 (5 minutes late) is worth seeing. Apparently it is a full flight and I have 1F! :p

We were on this flight today - I was having a hunch someone would be on it. We boarded from the rear so no paths crossed there. There were a decent amount of spare seats up the back (failure to board maybe??)

Really? Apologies for causing you hassles and delays.

By the way I was told this flight was full. I was at gate 3 when there were still 20+ people in the queue to board. When I got on board I was told "Welcome aboard, and by the way we have been paging you!". Not sure which airport they were paging me but I was there all the time.

Do not always believe what they tell you....

Not to worry! Guess I'll use the rest of my "finals subscription" to watch a few more games, been a few years since I've done so!

Oh no I wasn't implying it was you, I thought the seats may have been people who had failed to board.

I never know what time it is. We boarded towards the end also. I wasn't too worried if we were delayed or not. It was a big day for us, I was just happy we got to the airport and were on our way home. The lady a row back and on the other side of the plane was sat in the row by her self.. so I thought maybe a couple had missed the flight/changed to a different flight. The row in front of her had 1 seat, I didn't have too much more of a look - but I thought when a 2 seats were empty in a row it was unlikely that those seats hadn't been allocated (IE why would someone choose to sit next to us if they could have had a spare seat just 1 row back!).

I had said that I couldn't be bothered to board lets wait til we are paged - but the fear of no overhead space was thrown back at me.

Have you got Mrsflashware into AFL watching? Four teams left and none from Perth now is a bit of a killer for Qantas flights across to Melbourne from Perth.
Perth has Sunday trading now so we can drown our disappointment with some retail therapy. Prices here are roughly double the prices of London and Los Angeles so I think I can wait.

Unfortunately not! She popped out to do a spot of shopping (well, I say a spot.. but you should see how many bags she came back with!). As I've got the subscription for the rest of the finals, I may as well use it so shall give her the insights to the great Aussie game next week ;) She had already agreed to go out and kick the footy with me, pity the one I brought over decided to develop a hole in the bladder. Part 2 of my evil plan includes getting my Sherrin carried in from Perth!

Perth sounds like it's catching up in accessibility, but is long part catching up in price and has surpassed it by a mile.........

That can only mean she's fit as a fiddle. :D ;)

(FWIW when I met Mrs Flashware I didn't take her for a shopper - so I was wrong on that one.....)

Mining, mining, mining..... come on, we did it all!

She's certainly getting there, it's really great to see. We played a bit of badminton then kicked around a soccer ball for a bit (doing my part to fit in......... no, I lie, it's only because the footy was dead :D)!

She's not really much of a shopper ala Keith009 style, but likes to get a few things here and there!

What about a Velcro footy that she could kick inside your place so if the weather turns you can still play. You just have to be careful of light fittings and vases and a few other breakables.
