Do we? Not seeing any around Kent although the fields are damp with condensation.

Yep, definitely snowing in London (Surrey at least, as some other friends also in Surrey are getting it)! Cold front that came down from Scotland I think.

Bugger! It looks like we will have to cancel our European adventure next year because I doubt a new employer will blithely agree to a 2 month holiday so soon after starting. I rang Velocity and was told that there was a $60 fee for changing the flights, but haven't had the heart to ask about the cost of a cancellation. I will lose several thousand dollars cancelling pre-paid tours (but get back around $12,000), and will probably not get back my booking at La Jules Verne.

Of course I could not take a new job until after May, when our planned trip finishes, and can afford to do this. But I'm currently climbing up the wall without a job.

Bugger.

Always a problem when changing jobs. Hopefully you (and I) will have this problem to deal with.

This is why I am doing another DSC JASA next week so I wont have to worry about taking a holiday to requalify until 2014.

If flying out of STN there's a good chance you would be! ;)

It's quite funny seeing people trying to navigate the footpaths...

Time to make the popcorn to watch the usual snow delay dramas?

Might also be time to consider trains instead of planes, unless, of course, it's the "wrong kind of snow"...

Already big delays on the trains... bus is the go!

Makes me glad I work from home.

If you really want to find out about weather ask a Tasmanian. They think that 25C in Devonport is hotter than 25C on the Sunshine Coast. The first time I worked there was mid October-the poor little darlings thought that 18C with 45% humidity was hot and humid.Couldn't understand why I was wearing a jumper.
But having just been in Manaus with 39.7 and 95% humidity I should be right when I get home.

On a better note mrsdrron brought up her 7000 SCs in style today flying F DFW-NRT.

Nothing still in Dover. Just went through a passport check and bag X-ray. They must love us...
