I thought about watching Superbowl live.... but it would have involved a trek to a pub for an 11.30pm start and then hanging around till it finishes. Then at 4am or so stagger home and try to sleep.... not likely seeing cleaner arrives at 8.30 or so.

I don't really understand the intricacies of American football, but have (in a very token way) followed Baltimore (my dad lived there a while and I visited him) since they were the Baltimore Colts back in the 1970s. They lost their franchise at some time (it moved to and became the Indianapolis Colts), but eventually regained one as the Ravens (Edgar Allan Poe anyone?)

The only thing I learnt from going to a game is that it takes aaaaggggggeeeees. And it seems to be more about the entertainment and other phafing around than the actual sport.

That's why it's best to record a live game onto a DVR then watch the recording.

-10/+30/+300 second buttons come in handy.

Cant fast forward when youre at the stadium! :p
Actually, being at a game is a lot more interesting than watching on telly.

I thought the two and three minutes breaks would be painful - but unlike TV, you are not watching ads - lot's more to look at.

True. There's always something going on. Not my favourite sport though...

I agree that when at the ground it is usually much more interesting than watching on the television.

When I went to the baseball in Philadelphia last year there was a lot to see between innings when there would've been lots of advertisements on television. Also, it was easy to see where cricket got a few ideas to copy.

I'm addicted to this stupid game of candy thingy on my iPhone.

Just saw a Catalina in the background of a 730 story about South Sudan. It was looking pretty sad.
