If that was the sole content of the post this bizarre attack might have some relevance. Again if you don't understand something I question attacking someone over it instead of seeking clarification.

Cest la vie, its all in the perspective.

Yep and from my perspective it is very poor form to have a go at someone over something that you've stated you do not understand. I also fail to see why you're defending such poor form.

But, indeed a lovely day ...
Any day on a golf course is a lovely day.

About to head off to work and there is no way I can a description anywhere near lovely.

Oh well only 14 more work days for the year....

I shot 108, so it could have been quite a bit better

Well I think 108 is a good score!
This comes from a fellow whose only trophy playing golf was winning the Don bradman award at a hospital golf day.
Still thinl it is a good day if spent at a golf course.

99 not out of the rough? ;)

I know I can do better, but I just don't play enough to be consistent.

I once scored 108, and was very happy with that score. But I was not able to keep it up for the back nine.

How do you play golf in a hospital:?: :p

Does anyone else plan more travel when they are depressed? :(

I do when work pisses me off....I have 7 OS trips booked in the next 12 months!

You're a doctor - can you diagnose me as severely depressed? Maybe I can put some First Class travel and claim it as necessary medication / health insurance.... :p

I can also accommodate severely pissed off / anger management issues.... ;)

At least you can afford it.

I know what the chief of finance is going to say. At least the deputy chief knows not to say anything...

I tend to book lots of travel regardless of mood, although I do swing between wanting to fly every weekend and wanting to stay home and sleep.

I know a lot of people, but since 2008 I have not been particularly close to anyone. As such I don't feel "locked in" to be at home for any length of time, or on specific days of the week, etc.

~70% of my BIS miles are still for work, but I definitely enjoy the random personal trips (as well as attending dos)... Now, if only I had more money to fly more :p

I get depressed when I am locked down and can not travel.

There is no travel planned for the next 12 months for me.

Maybe a few quick trips OS but nothing more than a long weekend but it a long story why my travel is cut.

I used to get a quick bout of depression when I saw how much I'd spent on travel. Now I've put my ccs on autopay I don't get depressed nearly as much. ;)

I get forlorn when I don't have travel contemplated or booked, or know I'm going to be on the ground for a while. Seems we need to catch up to hear your story.

I always like to have the next trip at least thought about and well into planning (if not actually booked) well before the end of a current trip. I have a couple organised at the moment, just need to share the good news with my husband. Actually, the second one was his idea. Thinking - Dubai; Venice; then 7 night Eastern med cruise (Croatian coast), Istanbul, Santorini then back home. Trying out the mighty Emirates (coz Qantas flights cost thousands more). And. ahem, I am doing a solo 23 day cruise on QM2 in March to Shanghai - will barely have time to unpack, wash and repack. Such is life.

So my 77 (12 over par) at Chatswood is not a disaster?

I guess it is all relative though. I am not playing badly. Just leeking too many shots. Wish there was a quick fix.
