I was a flying instructor in the RAAF in 1976.

Your mention of the RAAF makes me think of a very good friend that was the first in the RAAF to log 2,ooo hours in a Mirage.
He took me to the Museum once and I actually got to sit inside the twin seater he flew. :p
It's about time I caught up with him again.

Whilst on pilots course I got a back seat ride in a Mirage that was doing the display for the airshow. Really cool across the field very fast at low level and inverted. (amongst other things)

Sounds like a scene from Top Gun. Were you improving international relations?

Apologies for being a little on topic but my head hurts from trying to figure out how many SC I'll be getting on my upcoming trip & how many I need to hit WP. It's going to be close because of the back of the envelope maths & dropping off of old SC.

Can I go to bed now?

No sir, you may not.

I didnt realise Jetstar had a sibling!

Betstar!

The similarity is amazing.

Yes indeed. One you gamble your money on a sporting fixture. The other you gamble that you will get to your destination on the date you booked.

Fine, I'll stay up then! :p

I was feeling really awake until I started adding up those SC with my brain instead of a calculator!

There was actually a funny GMail Labs add-on that was supposed to prevent you from sending errant or unwanted emails at unusual hours of the day. The "guard" was that you had to answer a few simple maths problems successfully in order to actually have your email sent.

I'd have to set mine for 0500 - 1200!

Notes that TOTT is up to page 737.

How long until 747, 757, 767 or 787?

Well past 380....

I had a great sleep! It must have been a combination of catching up on sleep & change of sleeping patterns from the weekend as well as trying to work out SC/WP totals immediately before bed.

What a huge difference posting using 4G on Samsung Galaxy S3 as opposed to 3G on Samsung Galaxy S.

Tried to draw a foul at competition basketball last night. Instead I hit the deck and rolled into a wall and have badly sprained my back.

I've spent the whole day lying flat in my own F cabin with the family being my gracious attendants.

Hopefully you have a speedy recovery. Well, depending on the attention you are currently getting, maybe not that speedy. ;)
