Heat a little olive oil in a pan.Throw in 2 cloves of garlic sliced finely plus one onion.
2-3 minutes then juice of a lime and a splash of white wine.Reduce 50%.Then throw in the cream, smoked salmon and fresh herbs.
Then throw in the pasta which has been cooking whilst making the sauce.
Easy peasy.

Will give this a go when I settle back at home next week.

In my line of work identification is regularly required. Unfortunately I don't make the rules but have to work within them.
I have one word for those that refuse to show ID when it is required.... goodbye.

So does your company have appropriate personal info handling procedures? Sadly very few companies do.

That crazy cooking woman (she does a hilarious take of Nigella with stupidity thrown in for humour, it's great) on the ABC did something very similar tonight. Garlic, Shallots, cream, salmon, dill. Looked good.

Is Tokyo snowed out at the moment with cancelled flights?

There hasn't been snow in Tokyo metro since Saturday. Sunday & Monday were fine. I fly out of NRT on Wednesday bound for SIN. Getting stuck here would be terrible :p

She is great and takes the pi$$ out of a lot of chefs who take themselves too seriously.

In fact, a good quote really comes to mind: [h=1]“Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”[/h]

Drron my cardiologist wants me to drink more red wine.
How can I argue with a specialist I thought?
Watch out for the crypto in the sun water. Also what about what fish do in the water?

To be precise the recommendation is for 1-2 standard glasses per day.
No saving the dose up and having 14 on a Friday night either.
There are some beneficial effects with other modes of alcohol delivery though.
And the really good news-after the age of 80 the more alcohol you drink the longer you live. From the St.Vincent's Dubbo study.
So in the words of Morecombe and Wise the thing I most want to do before I die is to have a very long life.

A similar one that comes to mind, "To the right people, you can do no wrong. To the wrong people, you can do no right."
