Tomorrow morning after a beach and bush walk, the ”office” will be heading to Asmore Reef for the total eclipse of the sun. We have the Australian government’s Astronomer-at-Large ( yes, his real title!) on board to present some lectures. Fred is an excellent speaker and makes physics sound like fun.

We shall see the one minute of total eclipse and all three hours of the moon’s progression across the face of the sun. We also have a National Geographic photographer on board. Sister ship Coral Geographer will also be at Ashmore Reef, chartered by NASA.

Fabulous experience.

Our German friends dropped in for a 3 day stay on their way home to Frankfurt after a fortnight driving around Tassie. Today was their last day so we had breakfast in Kings Park and then went for a short walk. Naturally we put on some PERfect weather for them.

Another early morning (6:15am) flight to Adelaide - love a loooong day trip to see clients

When in Rome and all that ....... yesterday's office from the Dead Sea (Jordanian side, agree with @RooFlyer that it's a better setup than the Israeli side near Ein Bokek).

Then onto Madaba, a city I think @RooFlyer would like, IIRC a fan of mosaics?

Finally, great car park view (albeit at a distance) from the Hilton Amman.
