I should be doing BAS, but this is more fulfilling. Recent trip to Tassie.

Evandale hotel. Arrived late at night due to a delayed flight into LST. Went to the bar for a nightcap, got confronted by an aggressive patron challenging me to a game of pool as a proxy for a duel. Haven't played for years but I drew deep from the reservoir of wasted years in pubs, the soul of Eddie Charlton flowed through my hands. I don't want to say it was a humbling experience for him. But, it was.



I grew up in North-Western Tasmania and simultaneously love and loathe it. Blissful afternoon skiing at Headhorse Creek. Later in the day, we managed to fit in bouts of sexism, racism and homophobia at the local surf club.

Last time I skied was in the last millennium. Like riding a bike.

Went for a drive, by chance found a once yearly sword dance at Blata, about 35 km from Korcula.
It was warm, we were there for 45 minutes, I was told they went for 90 minutes, I think they are a bit fitter than me.

Sunday afternoon Yankee Stadium, NY, then on Thursday night Manchester United visiting Spurs, in London.

A little late, but last weeks Gallipoli office, made it to all 3 services, ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair. ( about 10km walking total, up steep hills )
Very moving day.
