It was actually a rather good one from S Africa that they provided on the 'luxury deck' of the sunset cruise boat, along with some good canapes. Quite a pleasant way to enjoy my last evening in Zim. VFA-JNB this afternoon; JNB-SYD Sunday night and SYD-PER on Monday ... dang - just as I'm just getting into the swing of life over here .

Few days ago I took my last ever flight on this glorious plane which is going to retire soon.



Fantastic hard product in the pointy end.

I recall camping with the family at Carnarvon Gorge (Takarakka for memory) and walking to the ablution block was quite disconcerting. I think the big boys of the roo world (that stand head and shoulders above me and sport considerably more muscle) are territorial and their grunting from the darkness (at close range) was enough to make me cross my legs until morning .
