I thought it might be a good idea to try and get a few shots in before people start making their way into work and tramp all over it. Where we are is a little bit higher up, so there's a nice amount that has fallen but where I went for a walk not much has laid. It also seems a bit damp now so that won't be helping.

The only guys out with me at this time of the morning are the foxes... you can see their footprints everywhere! I bumped into 3 on my 20 minute walk.

Well it snowed out here at Milton Park. I decided to trek to the office, which is only a ten minute walk. I figured that was quicker than trying to dig out the car in the carpark of the hotel, like so many other people were trying to do - rather unsuccessfully.

I had brought my snow gear with me, so I had the right jacket, gloves, beanie, boots etc. It was what I was hoping for, a cute, snowy day - but not too much to delay my flight back home tomorrow.
I had to give full marks for optimism though, to the salesmen in the car yard scraping the snow off the cars - who goes car shopping in the snow? I suppose there must be some

The Business Park was very quiet for a change, although it looks pretty at the moment, it will all be a muddy slush by next week

But I made it - after trekking through the snow, sleet, ice etc with my trusty Essendon scarf for protection

Although probably more Scott of the Sahara, than Scott of the Antarctic

Brrrrrrrrr, is all I can say. The only time I like the cold is when I can slap a pair of skis on my feet and even then I look forward to lunch by a fireplace!
