The preparations for the Jubilee are well underway with street blockages all throughout Westmninster. There's an impressive display of the Union Jack all the way down the Royal Parade and they are flanked by other flag posts for each Commonwealth country with their name on each. Couldn't see Australia then looked ahead and watched the guys hoisting up our flag next to Canada. NZ was to be next, then South Africa, then India.

Does anyone know what was happening at this field to the right? Wondered if it was the recent Horse Show.

Trooping of the Colour?
 
Yesterday's field office, near Orielton, sthn Tas.

Went hunting for a 200 year old colonial farmstead site, which after long searching we pinned down to what is today the middle of a field atop a small knoll ... up there:
