In further on 16 November, TT562 (1300 hours MEL to OOL that took off at 1410 with B738 VH-VOY) should be at its destination airport spot at 1507, 62 minutes late.
Late afternoon heavy rainfall in Melbourne (which among other results flooded part of the T2 international terminal) on Saturday 18 November may have contributed to TT259, the 1600 hours SYd - MEL due at 1735 arriving more than two and a half hours late.
TT527, the 1735 hours arrival in MEL ex MEL is coming in at about 2045 hours.
The 1805 hours MEL - SYD, TT262 still had not departed by 2035 hours.
On Sunday 19 November's evening, TT272 (A320 VH-VNC, the 1940 hours MEL - SYD that was airborne at 2045) should arrive at roughly 2155, 50 minutes behind time.
The 1750 hours BNE down to MEL Tt533 (B738 VH-VOY) was in the sky at 1837, so expected arrival has become 2145, half an hour tardy.
On Wednesday 22 November, TT206, the 0645 hours MEL - SYD did not take off until a very late 0819. Arrival of A320 VH-VNJ should be at about 0954, 99 minutes tardy.
A320 VH-VNR, another 22 November flight, the 1825 hours MEL up to SYD that took off at 1917 looks to be arriving at 2038 tonight, 48 minutes late.
VH-VNJ of the previous post has run late all day with subsequent flights on the SYD - ADL TT635, ADL - SYD TT636 and SYD - MEL TT247 all 90 to 105 minutes late arriving at the respective airport terminals. It has not operated another flight since arriving in MEL at 1655 which shows the relative paucity of demand on a Wednesday, not helped by rising air fares and many domestic consumers' reluctance to spend.
During a stormy mid evening Thursday 23 November 2017 in and around MEL, TT253 (1725 hours SYD - MEL that took off at 1831 hours, A320 VH-VNJ) should be arriving at 2007 hours, 67 minutes late as it had been in a holding pattern for a short while above Woods Point, Vic.
This aircraft subsequently operated TT272 (1940 hours evening MEL - SYD that was in the sky at 2110) so its delayed arrival should be 78 late at 2223.
TT259 (Friday 24 November 1600 hours SYD down to MEL, A320 VH-VNJ) did not become airborne until 1723 so arrival is suggested at 1846 hours, 71 late.
By 1945 hours, storms were occurring in parts of Melbourne with TT263, the 1725 hours ex SYD that took off at 1818 (A320 VH-VNC) likely to arrive at 2014 hours, 74 minutes late. Note the loss of time from holding above Woods Point, Vic.
Continuing with 24 November, TT279 (2025 hours SYD - MEL, B738 VH-VUD) was airborne post-curfew at 2303 hours. It is expected to be at its gate in the southern capital at 0019 hours on Saturday 25, 139 minutes late.
What has been a dull and intermittently rainy Monday 4 December in MEL sees TT264, 1825 hours MEL - SYD that was in the sky at 1929 with A320 VH-VNQ likely to arrive at 2049 hours mid evening, 59 minutes late.
Friday 15 December sees TT851 on the 1050 hours OOL - HBA (a city pair not viable a decade ago for nonstops) that departed at 1154 suggested as arriving at 1523, 53 late. A320 VH-VNP is the aircraft.
On Friday 12 January afternoon, unsettled conditions are the case in MEL as TT502, the 1300 hours from HBA up to MEL that was airborne at 1556 hours (A320 VH-VNH) makes its way for an expected 1719 hours, 59 late arrival due to a fair bit of holding or speed restrictions occurring.
TT259 (scheduled 1610 hours from SYd down to MEL with A320 VH-VND) took off at a much delayed 1808. It should be at its southerly destination airport gate at around the 1917 mark, 92 minutes tardy. TT has much late running on the SYD - MEL sector of the 'golden triangle.'
Wednesday 7 March 2018 sees TT563, the 1435 hours mid afternoon from OOL down to MEL that did not take off until 1656 estimated to arrive at around the 2007 hours mark, 132 minutes late. Aircraft is A320 VH-VND. This plane featured in the previous post.
Thursday 15 March 2018 sees TT221, the 0845 hours SYD - MEL that did not become airborne until 0947. Inevitable result is a bad delay with likely arrival at 1103 hours, 61 late for A320 VH-VNH.
