Tigerair Australia Delays/Cancellations

Later on 21 April, B738 VH-VOY has become even less punctual than above. TT247 (1350 hours SYD - MEL) took off at 1805 (about 240 minutes late) with arrival likely at around 1915 instead of 1525 hours. Dearie me.

TT555, 1035 hours OOL down to MEl on Sunday 22 April 2018 took off at 1133. B738 VH-VOY (that also featured twice yesterday as a late runner - see above) should arrive at 1327 hours, 32 minutes late.

Continuing with Sunday 22 April, the 1350 hours A320 VH-VNC SYD - MEL took off at 1446. Arrival should be at 1605, 40 late.

TT213 (the 0700 hours Monday 23 April SYD down to MEL, A320 VH-VND) appeared to be still at its gate in SYD as at 0831 hours, so a poor start to the morning. Depending on turnaround times and padding in schedules, this plane may run late all day.

MEL has fog.

On Monday 30 April 2018, TT213, the 0700 hours SYD down to MEL (A320 VH-VNC) was not in the sky until 0852 hours, so arrival should be at about 0952, 77 minutes late.

VH-VNC then operated TT700, the 0905 hours MEL - CFS that took off at 1105. It is likely to arrive at 1245 hours, 105 late.

Note how the aircraft will have lost another 28 minutes from its initial to the second flight.

Both JQ and TT have problems in MEL adhering to rostered turnaround times.

TT513 (VH-VNR, the 0720 hours BNE down to MEL that was not in the sky until 1121 hours) is arriving at 1129 hours, 104 minutes behind schedule.

Forthcoming Friday and weekend industrial disputation has been solved as MattG has kindly informed us in the excellent AFF newsletter, but on Wednesday 3 May 2018, TT247, the 1350 hours SYD - MEL did not depart until 1522. B738 VH-VUD looks to be arriving at 1641 hours, 76 minutes behind schedule.

Friday 4 May 2018 has TT211, the 0640 hours SYD - MEL that was not airborne until 0721 (A320 VH-VNB) having been in a holding pattern above the favoured Mt Buller location, so arrival is estimated as 0847 hours, 32 minutes behind the timetable.

Tt471 (1720 hours Friday 4 May MEL - ADL that took off at 1815 hours with B738 VH-VUB) should arrive at 1855, 40 minutes late.

Continuing with Friday 11 May 2018, TT562 (1300 hours MEL - OOL, B738 VH-VUD) was still in a queue for MEL takeoff as at 1644 so will be at least three and a half hours late arriving at Gold Coast airport.

In further on 11 May 2018, TT471 (1720 hours late afternoon from MEL across to ADL that did not become airborne until 1855, aircraft being A320 VH-VNK) should be at its destination gate at approximately 1936 hours, 81 minutes late.

In more re Friday 11 May 2018, TT565 (1535 hours OOL to MEL, B738 VH-VUD) took off at 1943 with arrival at 2158 hours, 243 minutes late.

TT282 (2106 hours MEL - SYD, A320 VH-XUH) had still not taken off by 2155 hours so passengers had better hope that 'the delegate' has granted an exemption to the 2300 hours curfew.

TT281 (2035 hours SYD down to MEL that took off at 2142 with A320 VH-VNO) looks to be arriving at 2301 hours, 51 minutes late.

With single runway operations on the morning of Saturday 12 May in SYD (runway 25: departures to the west), TT206, the 0645 hours MEL - SYD took off at 0824 with B738 VH-VUB. Arrival should be at about 0943, 88 minutes late.

Single runway operations have been the case all day at SYD on Saturday 12 May. Usually, when they (rarely) occur, it's only for a few hours.

TT679 (A320 VH-VNF, the 1250 hours from CNS down to SYD) is shockingly delayed with takeoff at 1759 meaning expected arrival at 2039 hours, 294 minutes late. It had been pressed into service on the 0920 hours SYD - CNS (TT678) as it looks like another aircraft was defective, as this flight departed just under five hours late.

TT643 (Sunday 20 May 2018, the 1620 hours SYD across to ADL that did not take off until 1822 with A320 VH-VNR) looks to be arriving at 1938 tonight, 93 minutes behind time.
