Should probably update that eh? They matched my Flying Blue Gold (Skyteam Elite+) which was matched from VA SG.

Interesting way to do it. Any idea if FB are still doing status matches?

I don't think they would count, as TK differentiate between status and bonus miles. Good pickup 'though.

Knew I had been status matched but unsure for how long.. can't complain with that!

Just be aware that there seems to be a bit of luck associated with the status match. This was my third attempt over 6 months...

I used my new Miles & Smiles card to get into the Koru Club in NZ earlier this week, having recently fallen down from Gold Air NZ. I even felt a bit guilty flashing a card with which I have earnt 0 points. The guilt left me pretty quickly.....

I got matched two weeks ago and heading to the US late June for heaps of domestic on United and would love the card to arrive.

Could perhaps print out your card from TK? Might be a good backup anyway...

TK used to claim that you need to start some points activity (specifically from flying, I believe, and possibly from TK) before they would send someone a card, even matched elites.

When I got matched a while ago, no card came. Eventually I decided to send them an email and ask them where my card was, and they gave the reason above. But a matter of a month and a bit later a TK Miles & Smiles Elite pack arrived in the mail.

That must have changed in the past two weeks then, I just uploaded a copy of my Flying Blue Gold account statement which actually had no qualifying flights showing at the stage and was granted *A Gold.

I've re-qualified for Platinum, but haven't got my new card yet. Also have no activity on QF account since I requal'd in January (for a June 30 date) and have been flying VA since then to keep my Plat status. Looks like I'll have to wait until August/September to try again after I've got some activity to show.

Just got matched yesterday, 3 weeks after applying and the email I got from TK said that the full kit has been sent.
