Joined Miles&Smiles last night on Safari - had 5 goes before succeeding and receiving FF number, submitted SM to OWE request this morning on IE without any issues, received an email that my feedback had been received almost instantly - fingers crossed.

Pity my next *A flight is SQ F so the *G card won't assist much there.

Not an instant solution, but if you will continue to fly enough on SQ and *A to qualify Silver (25,000 miles), then you might consider crediting miles instead to Aegean (A3), and get yourself to *A Gold in 20,000 miles. TK is also similar at 25,000 to earn what we are matching to on this thread.

Not completely: you still are entitled to an extra 20 kg (weight concept) or 1 extra piece (piece concept) over the standard SQ F checked baggage allowance. Of course, unless you're a real shopper / kitchen sink hauler, that's very much little use to you

They will send you 2 sets of cards and luggage tags.

Good suggestion. Ultimately though I think you need to be the next tier up (Gold) to get any traction with any other scheme otherwise there would be people like me everywhere devaluing status for those who have actually earned it. But life's a game so I'll give it a try.

Definitely not, reported several times in here. They'll only match OWE, ST+ or *A Gold.
