TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Ooooooh. Recently spotted in Belfast where S6 is being filmed. The plot thickens...
Have not read the books but in the plot re Jon Snow seems to me that Melisandre isn't at Castle Black as eye candy...

devils advocate, but Kit would have to be in B'fast to shoot the funeral scene; and now his watch is ended. My personal believe is that the character's story has not yet finished.

Game of Thrones fans took to Twitter to post about Harington showing up in Belfast’s airport with his long hair intact. Even Joanna Robinson, from Vanity Fair, said she was almost 100 percent sure Jon Snow was alive.

There are a couple theories how Jon Snow will come back.

He will be burnt and survive the funeral fire like Dany, proving his lineage and presumably revived.

He jumps into his Direwolf before death and his body is stored into a ice cave, brought back to life later.

The Red Woman brings him back.

The most far fetched is the Night King will revive Jon Snow.

Plus their are rumours Ned Stark will come back in a flashback to prove Jon Snow's true parents.

Apparently there will be a TOJ scene has been/will be filmed which will confirm R+L=J.

My concern with any of the storylines for the next season is, how badly will D&D mess them up. As I have said earlier in this tread, they do not do the supernatural well.

If Jon wargs into Ghost, the audience will be totally blindsided, where is the basis for it. The show only has Bran as the Stark who can warg. The books covered Rickon and Arya doing it as well. They also alluded to Robb doing it when the Lannister men told stories of how he became a wolf in battle. The easiest solution will be for the priestess to do it as D&D have already shown her meeting Thoros and the resurrected (un)Berric Dondarrion. I still wish that they had followed the LSH plotlines, revenge and the impact of war on the wider population (not the nobility) are such central themes to the overall story.

Apologies for the code but I don't want to spoiler it for anyone just in case.

I recall reading that the author also wrote fantasy games and when coming to the end of the series of books asked his fans/followers to suggest story lines. I've no idea if he then used any of those ideas, but u fellows seem to have plenty of plot lines

There are a few people who co-edited the World of Ice and Fire with GRRM(artin) who also run a website that is deals with all things related to the books. If you think the QF/VA rivalry is bad here you should read some of the stuff over there ( www.asoiaf.westeros.org ) :). GRRM has said that he has read some of the theories in the early days but stopped as he didn't want them to influence his writing; changing a plot because someone figured it out early as an example.

Considering Nathan Fillian's earlier work in Firefly, it is not surprising.

Oh, Firefly was a great SciFi show that was cut before its time.
Our whole family are huge Josh Wedon fans and will watch anything he does, including the internet only Dr Horrible that he did with Nathan Fillion as a hilarious bad/ good guy. We are still in mourning for Firefly and have resorted to comic books to get more of it.

Unfortunately, I think Castle has "jumped the Shark" since the wedding that wasn't - some of the plot lines in the latest season seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I was watching a series online and recognised an actor. So I Googled her and found that she was only in five episodes - and I was up to number four.

Spoilt by my own spoiler! Dang.

I did that with Falling Skies when I noticed the actress Mira Sorvino. To confirm I checked IMDB to find out her next episode was her last.

Enjoyed season 1 of True Detective. Watching season 2 now - not sure about it yet.
