OT: Tip

I do very well with the Firefox cell select function (Ctrl+Click/Select) on the Mastercard transaction list.

i.e.

  1. [*=1]Bring up the transaction list online (it show 13 rows at a time)
[*=1]Hold the [Ctrl] key down then either (while keeping the Ctrl key down):
    • Click each field you wish to copy, or
    • "MouseDown" on the upper left cell of the transaction list and while keeping the button pressed, drag to the lower right cell and only then release the mouse button.

    [*=1]Release the [Ctrl] Key
    [*=1]Press [Ctrl]+C or [Ctrl]+[Insert] or Edit->Copy
    [*=1]Open the Excel spreadsheet window,
[*=1]select the upper right cell of the area you wish to paste to
[*=1] Select Edit (or "Right Click" on the cell)->Paste Special->Text
Voila!

You can do this 13 rows at a time - I do such so often, the entire process takes me about 10 seconds (with an Alt-Tab to swap windows)

Re: OT: Tip

Interesting...
Go to Macquarie Group Australia and click on Login to Macquarie. Pick Personal

I put my username and password from the Macquarie Cardserve.com.au site for the JetStar Platinum Mastercard in, and it says "Hello DeKa"
So... the Cardserve site is using the same back end as the main Macquarie site, just with a terrible front end! Unfortunately the Macquarie site shows zero details on the JetStar card.

Re: OT: Tip

After CC activation & about 3 weeks of use, I now receive an email reminding me that I haven't used the card yet.
That's strange because all transactions show in my online account. Rang the call centre, but it was too 'left field' for them.
Hope it doesn't slowdown the the transfer of the signup points, although there is an allowance of up to 60 days for that.

Ok, just logged in for the first time. These guys a pretty hopeless. There is a a bit on the website saying that my statement is due tomorrow, but seems to say that the minimum payment due is $0 and the outstanding balance is $0. Of course I have actually charged up a fair bit more on the card, but it won't actually give me a pdf statement.

Anyway, I have that slightly nervous feeling about seeing a due date and not knowing if I actually need to pay something or not. I might just send over a bit of a payment. Fortunately I only have another $1700 to go to hit the spend target. *whew*

I seriously think when I hit my target and get the bonus 10K i'm going to cancel the card and tell them that the reason is the pathetic online experience.

the woolworths qantas card makes a mockery of this jetstar "platinum" card.

even my trust free 28 degrees card offers a better online experience than this coughpola that's being served up by maquarie bank.

Agree the Jetstar card online banking thing is terrible, but the Woolworths one is at least as bad - no way to automate logins, no way to export transactions, also has a terrible UI. Also Woolworths may be a platinum card, but it has none of the insurance stuff you usually get with a platinum card. That said, the annual fee is about half Jetstar's, and you can make a bunch of bonus points if you shop at woolworths stores a lot, so I can see arguments either way.

Just want to confirm that I get points on this card if I have it in CREDIT?
Need to put mine in Credit to pay TAX bill :)
COVE says I should receive them?
Correct?

Closed at 10pm at night...after a post here for everyone to refer toooo..

Well sent BPAY Sunday night and still not in Jetstar Credit account today....not showing on website?
Give it another day before I grab the phone?

The two payments I've made so far have both taken two days to appear.

Sending a Bpay on Saturday even WILL NOT hit the target account until at least Tuesday. If reports are two working days then you can start getting upset if not there tomorrow.

Exactly, my bank processes payments on weekday nights, not weekends. So a saturday Bpay won't even be processed until last night. Then it needs to make it's way via the ether to the other bank.

To those waiting for payments to appear: Good news is they are supposed to backdate the payment arrival to the "processing" date. I'm not sure if that would mean the Monday night or the Saturday night. I certainly don't take risks on that one with AMEX payments, which are often due on weekends, and always pay them on the Friday before.

I am contemplating doing the same... I figure if no one tells them, they won't listen. I tried telling them on the phone, but the customer service rep didn't care.

You can automate WW EDR Mastercard logins with 1Password (Mac, PC, iOS) - it works for me. It is a two step process, but it works.
Also WW EDR Mastercard is supported by ANZ Money Manager which can login and download transactions for you. You can then export as CSV etc. ANZ Money Manager is a rebadged Online banking solutions | Personal Financial Management | Yodlee so it should work there too.

Payment came thru today!
Paid TAX via 2 payments
Thanks for the info guys!

Received my card early March, 20,000 points arrived a couple of weeks later. Now just waiting for the next 10,000. Had to call card services a couple of times because I could not access my online statement but all in all I found applying for this card to be fairly simple and the no card fee and 30,000 points will come in handy.

I ended up receiving this card with absolutely no contact from Jetstar at all. After completing my online application I emailed my most recent payslip, when I arrived home approximately 8 days later the package was there with my card. Have only used it in the past week and think once I get the points all credited from the required spend I will move back to using my Qantas CU card where the customer service has been great.
