I just cancelled my J* credit card as they did not waive my annual card fee after the first year of free annual fee promo. When I called them, they did not even tried to retain me????

Have had my first statement made available through the terrible online portal, that month's points have posted to my QFF account but no sign of the 20,000 bonus points, no annual fee charged so all good on that front. I have made a payment to the card but haven't paid off in full since the statement yet.

Got an email yesterday thanking me for my first purchase, enclosing a $100 jetstar flight voucher! Now that was a nice surprise!

Went very well with my 2-for-1 deals I snapped up :)

Got mine as well. Pleasant surprise. Voucher must be used within three months.

Ok warning bells are going off in my head. Are you guys sure you've opted in to earn QFF points?

Have already had a bunch of points credited :) So think I'm safe!

Remember to check your spam folder, I've had all sorts of useful stuff land in there!

Got my 20,000 bonus points today. Have also spent the $5000, so will hopefully see the 10,000 extra soon.

Just want to confirm that BPAYing for something on this card get the points?

Edit: Sorry I have received the 20K points.
Spent 5K and awaiting the 10K points bonus.
Now everything I spend on this card earns QFF points, right?
I have an AGL Bill and do I need to ring up and pay by credit card to get the standard 1:1 QFF points or can I use the BPAY function on the Jetstar card website and pay to get the QFF points??

No, that is not an eligible purchase. You must make purchases at stores (or our favorite merchant, the ATO) and then BPay from your bank account to pay the Jetstar MC bill.

Out of interest, why were you trying to confirm that? I can't find a post where someone said they were Bpaying FROM the JetStar MC.

Where does it say about "Eligible purchases"?
Why cannot you BPAY using the credit card an AGL bill and not get points?
Is it not the same as paying over the phone?

I do read in Westpac card T&C that Bpay do not get points.

We had quite a delay in one transactions updating.
Paid QF online by CC on 9 April. Transaction did not show in account until 10 May.

BPay direct from the card is treated as a cash advance on every credit card I've seen. I cannot see it mentioned in the T&Cs of this card but I am not going to test it.

Eligible Purchases are covered in point 9 of the T&Cs here: terms and conditions. "Points are not earned on cash advances, balance transfers or other restricted transactions."

Has anyone chased up the extra 10k bonus points on 5k spend? I've Received my 20,000 bonus points, and a 3100 and 2100 points for my first 2 months but no sign of the extra 10,000 points.

T&Cs state that the 10,000 bonus points will be posted by 30 June, so I would probably leave it a bit longer before chasing up.
