US Dividend Miles - post your SUCCESSFUL award bookings here.

I was under the impression that once F was introduced on an international sector it was 150K points.

Sort of. It is for that direction of the booking. You'd have to have F on both the 'to' and 'from' legs to hit the 150K price.

I have a USD OZ to Europe return booking ATM, one leg CDG/DOH is available in F so how does that work?.

That sounds like a *A booking so can't make any changes there.
For any new booking on OW with USDM each direction of travel is priced separately based on the highest prevailing cabin class and then totalled for the return award price in miles.

I assume that the F availability is only in one direction & that you would be going J all the way AU to EU. If so, it would price at 120k/2 for the outgoing + 150k/2 for the return (135k). i.e. one F segment on a multi hop route one way makes the whole direction F for pricing.

The old dog might be severely disabled, but it's not dead *just* yet!

SYD-NRT JL 787 J
NRT-GUM JL 767 J
(Dest 2 days)
GUM-NRT JL 767 J

HND-SYD QF 747 J

30k + $180 pp.

I miss *A.

Gday

SMIT0847 i am plan to book a similar itinerary (except JAL all the way), and was wondering technically if the SYD- GUM is within MPM25. I have researched the web and some people say that the MPM got adversely changed a few months ago. I have no way to confirm this. Anyway i can see a fair amount of availability for rewards flights but havent yet bought any USDM miles. I tried to Private message you but it didnt work for whatever reason.

Thanks!

Pele.

It's oneworld. QR fly CDG/DOH.

This is correct and I would assume the difference is simply paid on a changed booking (plus applicable fees).

Last night booked CBR- SYD - HND Return Qantas in J. Not the most exciting use of US Miles but we have a newborn so really wanted to keep it simple and short. Bought the miles with the promotion just gone saved a few thousand off the retail price and still have enough points in J for possibly up and coming trip to Auckland. Quick question if Qantas shows reward flights on Emirates metal can these be book though US and AA - I note you can search and book Qantas though AA website but no Emirates metal show up.

Tip which I am sure you all know and will be somewhere here already. Make sure you ask to be past onto someone from US Airways when calling their Australian number as this is shared with AA ( Spent 30min going though flight details and checking rewards and pricing an infant before we worked out I was talking to AA trying to book with US Miles :) )

Did you call US or AA? That might be why, I only call US Airways and never have an issue.

Emirates isn't in OW so therefore not bookable using USDM.

Yeah 100% about US and Emirates. Question was relating to AA probably stupid to ask in US forum but I was here.

yes use that number but be asked to put straight away through to US Airways - no queuing required. If you call the US Airways American number, you need to join the main queue which can sometimes be half an hour or more.
