Vaccine Rollout in Australia - personal accounts.

#1 son is a drug pro for a major player in the US.
Asking him what vaccine his son had received, he was ambivalent, opining that they were all much the same.
He should know… perhaps all this good better best vaccine discussion is a fallacious argument.

Not related to the rollout in Aus, but UK has now opened up boosters to the 18-39 age group so have booked in for Friday. It will be a trio of Pfizer for me as that's all that's available. Been about 7 months since my 2nd jab.

The results are better.
For a Pfizer booster after the J&J vaccine the antibody levels were ~ 20x the result after the J&J shot. For Moderna it was ~ 75x the levels.

A UK study study has also found a Moderna shot gives better results than a Pfizer shot after AZ.
Is that with the reduced dosage for the booster vaccination?

So last night just a small red raised area. No change in size today and only slightly tender when rubbed when showering and towelling down post shower.

I had the same with Pfizer booster but had nothing with AZ. My 5g started to wane so knew it was time for a booster.

24hrs since my Moderna booster ( Pfizer 1st and 2nd shots ) and just a slight sore arm, like a dead arm. Exactly like my 2nd Pfizer. Havent had any other side effects.

Same here, had Moderna Booster this morning, I expect same, bit of arm feeling.

Was busy Terry White Chemist as they didn't receive their Pfizer delivery on Monday. So all getting the Moderna ( I was anyway ), I thought these "shortages / delivery" issues would be resolved by now.

Getting the vax last thing on a Friday afternoon, if having the weekend off, could be something to think about. Well, it worked for me.

So my 5G has been boosted in a Modern way. Didn't even feel it.
The woman before me had her first shot. Finally got over her needle phobia.
AZ didn’t do anything for my 5G…. Maybe third time lucky.

Just got my booster. Seems everyone there was getting theirs as well, as you got a sticker with your first name and a number. Mine was "3" which I assume is the third shot, and everyone I saw had the same number.

All Aussie family members have now had their booster. All Pfizer. Just a tender arm for all.

Exact same as me after my Astra on Sunday. Has been improving gradually over the last few days.

My husband had AZ, AZ then the Moderna booster on Wednesday. On Thursday morning, he had some major dental work and felt a bit off. Not sure if it was the dental work or the Moderna.
I had AZ, AZ then a Pfizer booster this morning. No reaction, not even a sore arm. They know me well at the clinic now as this is my 6th vaccine this year. I often try hard to faint after about 15 minutes so now they lie me down for 30 minutes.

Just spoken to son in UK who is in the queue for booster today. He just found out they are having Moderna. So Pfizer Pfizer then Moderna. We've all had sore arms with Pfizer like the flu shot but nothing with AZ. All done now. Til next time....

The Brits really love a good queue, it was snaked all the way along with the shopping cente. Didn't feel the needle but boy did I feel the rest, arm feels dead which I haven't had before. I wonder if it's because he did it right at the top of my arm? Right near my shoulder almost. Anyway I've gone up to full bars signal strength so seems to be doing the trip.

Wasn't able to do my last daily rapid test due to being pinged as hard to find any. Haven't found paracetamol anywhere either.

So similar symptoms today as the second dose. Insanely tired, sore arm and a headache.
