Velocity 20% bonus points on transfers offer - November 2023 to January 2024

Which credit card? Best to check the full T&Cs for the specific credit card partner at the bottom of the FAQ page:
Suncorp / manual transfer. Yea I scaned the t&cs, plus I searched for some keywords, nothing seems to indicate that the credit card should remain open after the 3 transfers, I wouldnt think velocity could (nor should) be aware of the credit card status.
Of course I would be reassured if someone could confirm it s not an issue, ideally from past experience.

I got the congratulations on you second transfer as well But a week later another email which said hurry up and make your second transfer to assure your bonus.

That’s unusual for VA, @drron. They must have sent you the second email again, not the third 🤷‍♂️

Worth following up with them with the confirmations from CC provider and screenshot(s) of your FF transactions?

Yes both transfers are in my FF activity so I’m not concerned.

Alright so I called Velocity and spoke to a helpful Filipino CSR.

I haven't got any emails, but she confirmed my St George and AMEX transfers are manual and tracked, and even though I called Westpac to force a transfer before my auto transfer date, it shows in their system as an auto transfer not manual. She said this will still track, so 14k extra points there hopefully.

We both agreed that doing a final manual transfer of 2000 points from AMEX in January is a good idea, I will transfer 4000 which I should have in a few weeks, just to be sure no issues with 2000 being velocity points or amex points on T&C.

I manually made 3 transfers during the promo period, 1 from ST GEORGE (~600k points) and 2 from AMEX (2000 points). No email confimration or anything like some others have received above.

They do have until Feb i believe to issue the bonus points?

Transfer window ends on the last day of Jan. Doesnt make any sense bonus land before. T&cs indicating the bonus will land end of Feb, it is unlikly it lands earlier, but who knows, could be a surprise. My guess as to why the promotion specify end of Feb is that points transfer take up to 28 days, at least that's the message I got for my point transfers, from memory (in practice took 2 days).

I got an email a couple of days ago confirming I had met the terms with my third transfer, which was last week. But I'm not expecting to see the bonus points until well into February.

I've got the email for both of the first two months, but waiting until end of month so I can make my final Amex transfer.

Received an email today confirming I’d receive the bonus points, Subject: Congratulations, you've earned 20% bonus Velocity Points!

Got this yesterday. About 48 hours after a manual transfer.

It's really disconcerting that I don't get any emails like that. I had to call Velocity to confirm it's all on track but there is no box to tick in the dashboard....
