So coming up to two weeks.

Pretty much the same times here...although I think I got my email in 10 mins earlier on the 26th - still nothing tonight though.

Its a shame it seems to be more than a random process of the matches coming through with no logic behind it, with even non members getting matched before those that already hold some sort of status...however VA have said 4 weeks, so that's the expectation they set up front, so that's fair enough. Likewise it is also fair enough for me with higher status on QF, not to push my weekly business and colleagues travel to VA until such time as they do match - one good turn deserves another after all.

Heres hoping it will come through soon and I can wave goodbye to QF.

I can't find a map (otherwise I could point it out), but Level 3. I found it by going up the Myer side, crossing over the overbridge and it was basically straight ahead.

As mentioned, the Westfield stand is on level 3, you can't really miss it. If you're looking at a map, the nearby noticeable shop (for me) is Tumi - the luggage store.

Not particularly impressed with how it arrived. Bog stock envelope, and just the card, not luggage tags.. I hope they are coming later.

My Status Match has come through but Mrs has not :!:

I'd always do two such status match requests with two separate emails (as well as different email addresses) - not knowing how automated the Velocity systems are¹your single email may have been logged as the one request. (FWIW, whose Velocity number was first?)


¹ certainly the email reply is automated, but that can be a standard function of their email facility (such as Outlook or similar).

When my incorrect silver card came through, it was presented in the same nifty box as gold but with just the one luggage tag that silver is entitled to.

Well now, MatF's "status match" with nil points gives me a good feeling that mine will appear, eventually. I had 12k+ points deleted due to nil activity since 2008, so hopefully my QF Gold > Va Gold is somewhere in the ether - albeit only applying a week ago! Waiting, waiting ...

Hi nlagalle, due to the amount of status matches that have been requested, Platinum's and Gold's have been sent full packs, but we weren't able to send the same to Silvers. If you call the membership phone number that is on the card, you can request to have luggage tags sent out.

Sorry if it's been asked already. I applied very early but still haven't had my application processed. I scanned my qantas card as a PDF. Im wondering if that's an issue. Did anyone scan theirs as a PDF and have had their status matched approved already?
